The tom took a deep breath, his paws tingling as he walk. What if his father wasn't there? What would he do then? He tried to gather his thoughts. He had a new love. A mate now, his heart pounded at the word. Why did he have to go back to Luke and Bean? They weren't like him, Killer was. He knew what it was like to be destroyed. But at least he had known. Jake hadn't, or wouldn't know. The dark tom walked on, not knowing what he would uncover. It would be hard, knowing Jake and himself. His old thoughts clashing with the truth.
