The thought of it excited her and she narrowed her eyes in determination as she followed her clanmates to the battle field. Normally she would be up at the front with her leader, ready to lead their clan to battle, but now she lingered at the back, an invisible barrier around her as her clanmates stayed away from the traitor.
While she was determined, fear had its grip on Auroraflame. This was the thing she had tried to prevent, the thing that had cost her her rank. She was scared for her clanmates. Even if the majority of them had shunned her for the last few moons, she still didn't want to watch them be killed in a fight that could've been prevented. Taking a deep breath, Auroraflame waited for a signal before she would launch herself into the battle, ready to fight to the death for the sake of protecting her clanmates.
