Peachrain gave a purr of pride,” Great job.” I’m so proud that you caught the prey Willow!” She paused flicking her eyes slightly before correcting herself,” Willowpaw.” She meowed calmly hoping Willowpaw didn’t catch her giving her a nickname, or would actually like it, she’d slowly get Willowpaw use to being called Willow, then Will-Will would eventually come around. Eventually she’d use a better pet-name such as Sweetpea or hon, or honey, or sweetie, the ones mothers use with kits. She’d maybe stop the pet names when Willowpaw became an apprentice.
