[ Perhaps tonight was not the best night to be out. It was chilly outside, the type of climate to send shivers down one's spine. The moon was blanketed comfortably between the clouds, gazing down contently at the nature below.

Any self-respecting kittypet would be curled up within a silken bed, purring softly as they fell gently to bed. But not Sephora. She was cowardly at times, sue, but she was brazening up. In fact, last night, she got the courage to slip outside the cat-door and stargaze. Apparently, this was what all the wild cats saw every night!

A soft chime broke through the crickets' songs, and a shadowy figure prowled quietly through her garden. She circled around the small area, her brilliant green eyes as wide as the moon itself. A plume of cold, grey air escaped her maw - the cold season was approaching, but she didn't seem to mind. After all, her long-haired pelt provided a lot of comfort in frigidity.

She crouched, her posture that of a little kitten trying to imitate a battle-hardened warrior - though she thought she looked pretty cool. Tail and rump wiggling in the air, she clumsily dashed for the fence, and scrabbled up the wood with sharp claws. It was a good thing her Twolegs never declawed her.

"Nailed it." She purred to herself, a hearty chuckle rising from her throat. Her whole body was perched along the fence, her tail curled around one of the stakes.

"Wow...I can't believe there are wild cats out there, in the shadows, eating bones and stuff. I wonder if someone's watching me right now!" She purred, the thought seemed absurd at the time. Who would be watching a kittypet this late at night? She figured even warrior cats had to sleep sometime. ]
