Sweet Grass nickered in unease, looking around him. He wasn't entirely used to being in a large area with other horses, not to mention with a lack of humans. The American Paint horse flicked his ears around, hoping someone would come and talk with him.
The young stallion flicked his tail at a fly and ran a hoof across the dirt.
Sweet lowered his head to take a mouthful of green grass, eyes forward and alert. He kept on expecting a human to walk by or call out to him, not entirely used to their disappearance yet.

Mirror lifted her head, a short strand of grass hanging from her mouth, until she let it drop. Most of all, the stallion just looked lonely? If she was even judging it right. Apart from her racing, she hadn't been around many other horses. She trotted over to him, giving an airy nicker to announce her presence that was slightly behind him, but too his left flank. While the mare waited for his reaction, she let her mind wander.
It had been an extreme pain first ecasping from escaping from her stables, and she had really only been free for about half-a-day. Or was it at night, then she feel asleep? She didn't really know. The equine had trouble calculating how much time had passed, since she could usually judge it by the time she was let out into the pasture.
