Default finding gentledoe in the outskirts

Redhawk
She/they | 29 moons | Ultimate Predator • The Collector • Kitty Softpaws [inactive]
It felt wrong in a way to be crossing over ThunderClan's scent markers and heading into unfamiliar territory. But Redhawk was unable to stop her paws as they whisked past, drumming against the floor. The trees didn't thin out for some time, and when they finally did a myriad of scents flooded her nose - rogue, kitty-pet, twoleg, monsters, prey. None of it was Gentledoe. "G-Gentledoe said her body was near a p-path up ahead," she called out to Bumblestar, who she knew was keeping pace with her. "N-Near a dirt p-path."

Without missing a beat Redhawk leapt over a fallen tree, clearing it and landing without a pause on the other side. She kept her ears perked, jaw parted to draw in every scent she could. It was hard to pick up anything over the fear-scent that spilled from her - until a flash of something caught her eye. Immediately veering towards it Red halted in her steps to sniff. Gentledoe. Stale but, that was her sister. "Here!" Bolting away once more, Redhawk hurried towards the scent trail she had found.

It eventually led her to a thunderpath, where the sides seemed to dip. She flanked it for a bit, eyes searching until - "SSS-Sister!" Halting in her movements she practically threw herself into the shallow dip, colliding with the too-still body of her sister. It looked... torn apart. Ripped at and picked apart - but she knew it was her sister. Tears fell from her like water from a leaf as she pressed her nose into the fur of her fallen family.

Dead. She was really... dead.
