Papayakit slipped forward quickly and she crouched, her own tail raised in the air, wiggling playfully as she suddenly leapt to catch the tail in her grasp. She missed. Papayakit jumped back, her small body shivering. She leaped again. She missed. If she went one way, the tail wiggles another. It was quite infuriating, but it kept her distracted for a long while. It was just so...feathery! Papayakit swiped a paw at Dovecoo’s tail, feeling the lightbrushing of it, but she still had missed. She jumped in the tail’s wait, but it maneuvered quickly. So, she jumped the other way - just to miss it again. Like a cat trying to trap a mouse, she played with Doveoo’s Feathery tail with annoyance that she couldn’t exactly catch it, yet with delight because it was a fun game.

At the entrance, a familiar silver tom entered into the nursery, followed by his young mate. He gave her a quick nuzzle before he looked around the perimeter. When his eyes caught hold of his young daughter focused on a wiggling tail, Honeythidtle raised an ‘eyebrow’ somewhat confused until a low rumbling chuckle came from deep within his throat. He had sat down to watch the view with amusement because he loved watching his kits play around with vigorous energy. He saw how Dovecoo was tending to the kit. A little patience as Papayakit busied herself. Honeythistle shook his head. He got up and began passing towards them, stopping in front of Dovecoo. He met her gaze for a moment before his eyes slithered downward to Papayakit and back up to Dovecoo. “Ah, am I interrupting something?” He asked, teasingly. Papayakit didn’t bother to greet or reply to him because she was determined to have this soft, feathery touch between her paws one way or another.
Dovecoo let out the occasional giggle as she lifted and lowered and wiggled her fluffy white tail. Papayakit seemed so intent on catching it and was growing annoyed that she kept missing, but Dovecoo knew the game wouldn’t be as fun after Papayakit caught her tail so she continued to twitch it just out of the kitten’s reach. The snowy queen truly had a wonderfully soft tail. The fur was long and meticulously groomed until it felt as soft as her her namesake’s downy feathers. Her tail had the longest fur of her whole pelt and she was proud to say that there wasn’t a single tangle. Once again, Papayakit pounced and missed and Dovecoo chuckled. She didn’t notice Honeythistle watching, not that he had even entered the den. Dovecoo wasn’t paying attention the smells around her and had lost some of her skill in noticing smells without trying. Therefore, the first time she noticed Honeythistle was when he was right in front of her. “Hi, Honey! She purred as she always did, jerking her tail into the air once more.
