Oakpaw swallowed nervously at his expression. It looked like worry, concern, and preparation all at the same time. What was going to happen? Heart pounding, Oakpaw glanced at the seeds. They could make her sleep after it was over. Just like he said. Either way, she had no choice. Oakpaw slowly nodded. "Okay. I'm ready. Let's get this over with," she replied slowly. Oakpaw braced herself for any pain that would make her yowl.
