Holding back a snort of amusement, Roanfeather raised an eyebrow at his attempt at claiming he was the best at giving advice, as she could probably think of at least three instances off the top of her head where this wasn't exactly the case. However, she figured she could probably let him get away with it... just this once, he could relish in thinking he was right.

Even if he'd definitely been joking about it.

"Brilliant deductive reasoning skills, Blazingstar," she complimented teasingly, but his hypothesis remained correct. "We can't just.. leave a cave unexplored, could we? Considering your rank, dare I say that might be irresponsible-- what if there's a hungry, bloodthirsty beast wanting to feast on poor WindClan cats that venture out this far beyond the territory?" It was unlikely, unless that beast was smaller than cat-size or if there was another opening to the cave. Being here reminded her of the times they were mere apprentices and explored the territory together, sneaking out without a warrior-escort for adventuring purposes... How reckless they had been, and here they were, barely any better. Seeing his reaction, Roanfeather meowed with a step forward, "Come on, I doubt there's anything inside, much less anything that stands a chance against the almighty Blazingstar."
