Newleaf was definitely here, and Skunkstrike enjoyed the warmth of the morning sun on her back. She had decided to take a stroll about the territory, stretching her legs, testing herself with her one eye. She was still adjusting, but she found that her ears worked fine, if not better, now that she couldn't catch visible movement on her left. She could hear movement, and every so often a bird called out on that side, prompting her to stop and look to see if her accuracy was right. Three times outta five. She was getting better, it felt...


Well what a nice thought it was! She beamed and lashed her tail as watched the bluebird fly away, and she was onto her walk once more. Skunkstrike padded along, blissfully inside her own head and thoughts as she roamed about the territory.
