Up in the northern forests, a group of wild cats roam. They donned thick fur and pale coats to survive in the harsh winters if Norther Canada. These cats hunted the winter creatures that also made this biome their home. These cats were feral, and could be harsh. But they were also caring and protective of those they love.

Winterstar and Cherrywing sat side by side, their fur pressed against each other. Winterstar's grey-green eyes scanned their home, watching, as the dawn sun rose above the horizon, flooding their camp with warm sunlight. He smiled as he watched his few cats stir in their dens. The pale silver tom watched as he caught sight of Darkstrike's dark coat. He got up, flicking his tail at his mate, signaling he would be back. Cherrywing purred softly before grooming her pale tortoiseshell pelt.
Winterstar poked his head inside Darkstrike's den (the HR have their own dens).
"Darkstrike, are you awake?" his voice was quiet, not wanting to wake the tom if he was still asleep.
