Why Graytail should be Deputy

Graytail walked up she may be shy, but she could get over that, she doesn’t need power, she just wants to be known, she didn’t care is she gets chosen or not, she flicked her tails, “I want to be deputy.” she mewed “I’m calm, I can keep my cool in battle, or any situation that comes up. I am smart, I can solve a murder, or anything that needs to be solved. Kind, if a cat got hurt, I would help them, as much as I could, of course, that doesn’t include cat out of Riverclan. Understanding, if a cat is blamed, I would give them another chance, and, if given the chance, a good leader, I would help the clan first, before me, I would put the clan first.” she spoke, loudly, loud enough for Sootstar to hear.

“We need a good leader, a good friend, a good clan, we need a strong leader, and deputy.” she paused “We need to be united, as a clan. We need to be strong, as one, we must work together, for if this clan doesn’t, we will fall, and no one wants that.” she had been a good friend to this clan.

She had been a strong warrior, and no matter what, she would be a good friend too. “I may not be chosen, and if I’m not, I won’t be mean, or careless, to the new deputy, like some cats are.” she wasn’t usually this bold, but, this was a special occasion, “This clan is strong. We must keep it that way.” she may of had many phobias but with a little help, she could get over her phobias. “There will be many other cats who want to be deputy, but, if I get chosen, I promise, to help this clan stay strong!”

She held her head high, “I will, do as much as I can, for, I am born to serve Riverclan, and I would do anything for it. I would even give up my own life for Riverclan, I can help, Riverclan grow stronger.” she mewed “I would do anything for my home, my clan, my family, my leader, anything, and I mean it.”

She would stay loyal to her clan, and for many moons to come. “Even if I’m not chosen, I will stay loyal to my clan.” she had spoken, out loud, and she would be deputy, or, at least, she hoped, she would do anything she could, anything at all.

And with that, she concluded, or at least, she thought she did, “I hope, Sootstar, you will be proud of your choice, me or not.” she backed up, only to step forward again “I just wanted to say. Anyone, who supports, me, or any cat who wants to be deputy, cheer for who you want,” she called out over the crowd “As that is your choice, that is all Sootstar.”

Info on Graytail:

Despite her young age, of around 20 moons, almost 21, she has logic, and is smart, caring, she was born with two tails, now wanting to be Riverclan's deputy, she would give up her life for Riverclan, she is loyal to the core.

Graytail is a Gray tabby, getting "Gray" as her prefix, from her Gray pelt, and "Tail" as her suffix, from her two tails, although, she has been shy, because she hasn't seen any other cat like her, nor heard of another cat like her, she also tends to stay close to her mate, Riverpad, who sees her for who she is.

Graytail has an apprentice, by the name of, Flamepaw, Graytail has the qualifications for deputy, even though she has, had some, troubling times, in her life, she has powered through them with the ones she cares about, she cares about the clan, her apprentice, her leader, her family, really anything to do with Riverclan, she has some quirks too.

She doesn't like to hunt Starlings, for, when she does, to her, it seems something bad happens when she does, she likes rabbits, but, those are mostly in Windclan, she sticks to borders, and keeps away from other clans, she only talks to one cat at a time at Gatherings, if more than one comes, she slips away.

She trained hard as an apprentice, her mentor was, hard with training, but kind as well, her mentor would stop when she saw Graytail couldn't go on with training for the day, she wouldn't push her too hard, her mentor, would, comfort her when Graytail needed it.

She wanted to have kits with Riverpad, but, now she wants to be deputy, and if she is picked as deputy, she will not have kits, as she wants to keep her position, and reputation, she doesn't want to be a bad deputy, she wants to be a friend to the clan, as she wants to look good to her clan, and the oher clans, she wants a good home, good friends, good family, a good clan, a great leader.

As deputy, she will uphold the warrior code, defend the clan, help the clan, stay up to date with patrols, and make Riverclan look strong. She will also stay loyal to Sootstar, even when she has to defend Riverclan, she would defend him, and the clan.

“Hey Graytail, why do you want to be deputy?” I asked her that day

“Well, it all started when I was a kit, I didn’t know I was different than the other cats in the nursery, I thought I was the same, until the other another kit started teasing me, so I said to them. “I’ll be deputy one day, just you watch!” I yowled that to their faces, you’ll never believe what they said.”

“What did they say to you Graytail?” I asked many questions that day

“They said, strait to my face, “No you won’t! You’re weak and pathetic!” so I screamed back “I will watch!” then I ran to my mother and fell asleep.”

“Wow, that is pure evil.”

“Yeah, they ended up leaving Riverclan once they were a Warrior.” Graytail mewed

“What was their name?” What? I was curious

“Lunarsight. She left the clan, and went, who knows where.” Graytail hissed, she didn’t even like thinking about Lunarsight.

“Wow, you really hated her didn’t you.”

“Can we….. Talk about something else please?” Graytail shuddered

“Yeah, anything I should know that I don’t know?”

“Um, I have a lot of phobias.” Graytail whispered

“Well how many?”

“Um, here, Autophobia, Thanatophobia, Cynophobia, Astraphobia, Anthropophobia, and Gelotophobia.”

“Wow. Let me count. Six {6} whole phobias! That’s a lot!”

“Yeah, I know.” Graytail mewed “I need a bit of help.”

Interview pt. 2

“So, you had a Day break, are you ready for interview part 2?”

“Yeah, sure I am.” Graytail purred

“So tell me more about yourself.”

“Well, I didn’t know anything about my mother, she died when I was born.” Graytail mewed sadly

“That’s sad, isn’t it folks?”

“Wait? Is this being filmed?” Graytail hissed

“Yeah, it’s an interview.”

“Stop the filming!” Graytail Snarled

“Okay, okay. Bob, stop the tape.” I winked at him, so um, I hope he understood not to stop the tape

“Thank you.” Graytail purred

“Okay! Tell me more!”

“And my father ditched Riverclan when my mother died.”

“Oh, that must have been hard, living without a father, and a mother.”

“Yeah, no one to turn to, until Riverpad came up in my life,” Graytail purred

“Who’s this, Riverpad?”

“The love of my life or, my mate.“ Graytail purred again

“Aha! Now I see.”

“I wish Lionstorm was still leader.” Graytail said sadly

“Lionstorm?”

“Yeah, he was Lionstar, now he’s Lionstorm, now Sootflare took his place, she’s now Soostar.”

“Ah, okay! Thank you for letting me know!”

“No Problem.” Graytail mewed

“Okay, folks! That’s all for today! See you next time!”

“Wait, you didn’t shut it off?” Graytail hissed then leaped at me, unsheathing her claws, scratching

“Ow! Ow! I won’t post it!”

“You’d better not.” Graytail snarled

Small things that haven’t been shown

She was my first character, and I like RPing her

She has many Goods and Neutral Relationships, not many bads, she doesn’t really have a bad side, mostly a good side.

She is a Polycadual cat, which means she has two tails.

If there was a prey shortage in the clan, she wouldn’t eat.

Her greatest hope is that the clan lives long, with or without her.

She has average mental age, but on the higher side of the average

The Tip of her right tail is a bit of a Darker gray than the rest of her

She walks fast

I created her the day after I joined

She likes rabbits better than any other prey, but, there’s mostly fish, and Rabbits are kinda for Windclan ;-;

She has many emo thoughts

Her siblings died at birth alongside their mother

She believes in Starclan and the Dark Forest

Her thoughts on Sootstar:

“Well, I would say he will be a great leader, from the day he came deputy, I knew he should be it, he earned it. He will be a leader for a long time, and I want that. He’ll live a good life, a life most kits dream of.”

“Any kit who wants to be a leader, will work toward being loyal to the clan-”

Um, Graytail, getting a little off topic here.

“I’m getting there! So stop getting in the way!” She said Unsheathing her claws

Will do.

“Thank you. Where was I? Ah, yes. And a loyal kit, means another warrior to have in our clan one day. We need a leader to look up to, a strong, happy, kind, leader.”

Ah, now I see where you were going

“Shut it! Unless you want to meet my claws again.”

I’ll actually be very quiet from now on.

“Good. Now let me get back on track (For the second time). Sootstar has been a good leader, for the moon he’s been leading, he’s been good, no, great.”

*Silence*

“I support him and his choice of Deputy, no matter who they are. If it’s me or not, I will stand strong by Sootstar’s side, and the Deputy’s side (Not if it’s me of course) for I am a loyal Riverclan warrior, and I always will be.”
