The Beauty Within

As some may say, true beauty comes from within. And as most should know, that is correct. It does not matter what is on the outside, all that should be looked upon is what is on the inside.
But most of the time, the inside, or the soul, of a human is not what it may seem. But what if what was on the inside, reflected back into the outside?
Where everyone knew of all your sins, of all your crimes and more, just by looking at you?
Well, that's what happens in the small village of Likiensoro. Everything horrible you say is printed in words upon your skin. Every little act you take place in that is considered as horrid, such as robbery, is shown with a black dot placed on your face.
It's the only true way to really be judgemental.

Appearance- Short, messy brown hair. He has piercing grey eyes, and the deadliest of glares. He has a tint of an Australian accent, but tries his best to hide it. His skin is tan, as his cheeks are defined and his shoulders are broad. Alex usually has a bored expression. He wears long-sleeve shirts to cover the words on his skin. He is around 6" and wears black skinnies, along with converse and one earring.
Personality- Can be kind, but is normally sarcastic and uncaring. Otherwise, it is going to be built upon.

Appearance- Anderson is a tall male, standing at 6'2. He has a powerful build from working single-handedly on a farm in order to support him and his younger sister. His arems and legs are always ready to work an dhis hands are rough from hard toil. Anderson has deep, brown eyes that seem like endless pits. Although they show no emotion, he may let his guard down every once in a while.
Extremely untidy chestnut hair gives him a slightly wild appearence. The hair is down to his shoulders, and is absolutely not well-groomed at all. He may not seem a gentlemanly, but truth lies in the heart.
Personality- Anderson can be pretty rough sometimes. His words are often blunt, and it's pretty obvious that he means business. Not to mention he is typically unsensored when it comes to getting what he wants. His true motives, however, are not to harm, but to protect the few that he loves. Under his tough shell hides a protective, caring young Mann willing to sacrafice anything for his family and friends.

Pronouns- She.Her.Her's
Appearance- Riley is much different than her brother, both in looks and personality. She isn't much shorter, standing at just 5'3, and has a paler skin complexion that looks almost translucent. Freckles dot her pale face and is framed with dark auburn hair that's cascades in waves down her slender back. She is much less intimidating than Anderson and seems almost delicate.
Riley's eyes are a deep shade of blue that are flecked with gold and seem to intense for her innocent appearance. Despite the fact that she seems to catch every single sickness that has ever existed, Riley is no doubt very beautiful in a soft, tender way.
Personality- Before she turned seven, the age she lost her voice, Riley was always talking. Almost all the time, her words were kind and brought happiness to those around her. She had the gift of lighting someone's day with a few choice words. When her voice abandoned her, Riley was much more docile. She became more mature as the years drew on, and, although she never gained any more words that tattooed her skin, she still resented the loss of the ability to speak.
Now, she has replace s words with motions; Expressing herself through meaningful and other ways.
Ofcourse, not everyone is happy-go-lucky all the time. She has a fair share of anger from not being able to help in ways she wishes. Frustration at being so sickly. Resentment for her loss of voice. But Riley has taught herself that sulking doesn't no one good, and you have to the up and embrace what you have.
Inside, Riley is loving, playful, and, most of all, full to the brim with a happiness.

Basically, with every crime your character does, a dot gets added upon theor face. Every word that they say that is hurtful in some way, such as ugly and more, is added onto their arms and body, like a tattoo.
