Hey, all. I've been trying to think of some new clan plots for WindClan, or at least plots I can involve the clan in. I've got one in mind that we'll do in a few months' time that will affect the whole clan, but again that's later. I'm the type of gal who finds it easier to brainstorm with others, as in I'm good with building off of plots and ideas pitched at me rather than creating stuff on the spot.
Keep in mind that the plot does not need to be a huge thing involving the whole clan, like dogs attacking the camp, hawks attacking the camp, or the camp being attacked at all [hint: I would rather the camp not be attacked pleased]. It could be something smaller that we can build off. Like isolated incidents that could stir up some drama in the clan.
Owlglide brought Twilightstar some news about one of their clanmate, Cottonwish, found dead and decapitated. It happened to one cat, but it's eery enough to cause a stir among WindClan, could do something with that like a murder mystery or something.
I noticed two outsiders straight up barding into WindClan's camp, mixed that Dawnstar's warning about outsiders causing trouble in ShadowClan, and them constantly barging into the gatherings, I'm not sure what but there's something.
Ummm, although Twilightstar has no intention of getting involved, the recent news of a ThunderClan apprentice kidnapped by RiverClan could stir up some animosity with the clan and shake/break their alliance. Twi will bring it up at the next clan meeting regardless.
The increase of 'technically' code breakers in the clan could cause some drama, such as issues about their loyalty to WindClan. (Twilight will be announcing three more cats joining from ThunderClan at the next meeting)
There are a few other things happening in the clan that I could list, but my memory isn't working so I'll add those later when they randomly pop up inside my head. Anyway, if you guys have any ideas that could branch off of the stuff above that could affect the clan or just clan plots of your own, let me know below.
Also, please don't list an event, I'm looking for plots, not event ideas. Don't quote this either! Thanks!
I have an plot planned with Redboi that I'm looking forward too, when Twilight hears about it it might have an effect on the clan and that could get Redspeckle into some more plots once that one ends(Some cat that was close with Redspeckle is gonna die and some other things)
Content Warning for general descriptions of cannibalism
Hey there! So @Willowfern, @error and I came up with the idea of dropping a couple of cannibal cats into WindClan, after a discussion in the discord server about the old cannibalism plot. This mini-plot will most likely still play out regardless of if it affects WindCan on a larger scale, but just in case it has the chance of affecting them as a whole or even just stir them up a bit, we all thought we could drop it off here (: It goes as follows!
Willowfern’s Shrimpspike happens to stumble upon a deceased loner on the edges of the territory. He returns to tell error’s Sweetdrizzle and my Mossykiss and gets them both to go check it out. Mostly out of curiosity, Shrimpspike decides to take a bite, and manages to rope Sweetdrizzle into it. Because Mossykiss is a brand-new warrior and has only just recently been getting used to not having Shrimpspike as a mentor, he feels pressured to join the others as well.
Though they continue to gorge themselves on deceased loners, the two older cats grow bored of simply finding kills and move on to seeking out living loners themselves. Mossykiss continues to be dragged along simply due to the pressure they feel from still feeling the need to listen to Shrimpspike.
One day they end up killing a WindClan cat. This is the last straw for Mossykiss and he bolts from the two older cats to spill everything the Twilightstar - the first meal, the murders of the loners, their most recent kill, all of it. Should the timeline permit it, it’s likely that Mossykiss would return to Shrimpspike and Sweetdrizzle out of a sense of necessity to warn them that he had spilled the beans, and to give them time to leave if they wished. Mossykiss, if allowed to, would remain in WindClan to make up for his deeds; if not permitted he would leave with Shrimpspike and Sweetdrizzle.
And that’s it! Nothing too huge except for the murder of a fellow WindClanner, but we thought we might run it by you in case it had the potential to sort of affect the Clan as a whole (:
With the replacement of more experienced tunnelers by newer ones, some of the knowledge of the tunnels has been lost, especially the farther from camp one ventures. While most cats aren’t interested in the spaces, a mischievous kit or apprentice(or a group of them) could swiftly become lost. Normally this could be remedied with a search, but on this particular occasion, nature gets in the way.
Heavy rains flood the tunnels, trapping the young cats and heavily impeding their rescuers, many of whom have never been in the section of tunnel where they are trapped and so are having difficulty with the rescue. After a day or so of hoping the water will recede, they are forced to try and swim to them, or dig in from surface level(this could be decided by a clan/team meeting, or a single cat could make the decision).
No matter what happens, at least one cat will lose their life. If they try to dig in the cats they’re trying to save could be crushed beneath the dirt and rescuers, or forced into the water by an avalanche of dirt and drown. If the rescuers try to swim in they could drown on the way there(bonus points if the corpse pops up by the stranded cats), or one of the trapped cats could drown as they try to swim them out. Or, if the clan chooses inaction, several of the trapped cats could starve or run out of oxygen and die due to carbon dioxide poisoning.
At least one life will be lost to the tunnels, and instead of banding together in tragedy, the clan turns on itself. The family and friends of the deceased blame those who survived, and those who survived are scarred by the event. They may develop fears of water or tight spaces, or simply the tunnels. Even those who only watched are drawn in, loosely dividing into two camps. Those who see it as evidence that the tunnels are dangerous and need to be closed off, and those who want all cats trained in them to avoid future catastrophes.
While erecting a small memorial to the fallen, the tension explodes. Cats from both sides get into a full scale brawl, words angry and claws unsheathed. A group of more levelheaded cats(probably led by Twilightstar) will have to separate the combatants, and escort them back to camp.
I don’t know if this would be too big, but it might be fun! @Moonraven

I wanted to contribute to this and I came up with two ideas, but it seemed likely that the second one wouldn't be considered so I decided to scrap it. @Moonraven
So, I have some doubts about this one but I think it could work. Perhaps, a patrol is out hunting when they catch an unfamiliar smell in the territory. They decide to follow it and it leads to where Windclan territory ends and the outskirts start. One or two cats decide to investigate and when they come back fairly quickly, they say they found the cat who the scent belonged to but they say that the cat didn't seem dangerous, just really sick and fragile, probably on the brink of death. They head back to camp to report to Twilightstar, but they don't notice that they're bringing a sickness back to camp.
What the patrol didn't know was that the cat had a disease and it was spread by fleas. The fleas spread the disease by biting the cat and then going on to infect others. The fleas spread by close contact and only cats who are very clean and healthy seem to not show symptoms to the disease. The disease takes a few days to show symptoms but as soon as it does, it leaves a cat very sick to the point where they can barely walk. If they survive, they are left in pain for many days, up to a moon sometimes. Those infected have to keep away from the other cats. The only other way that cats can be immune to the disease is to be covered in (insert strong smelling substance), as it seems that the fleas don't like the smell. These are only used for those who are brave enough to take care of the cats, like bringing them water and prey.
It takes a while but soon, a cure is found. If you eat mint leaves and then go submerge yourself in water, then the fleas will die cause of the water.
The cure doesn't make sense, I know, so you can edit it to make it more realistic.

I love the idea of bringing a few cannibals back into WindClan. Let me know how this plot goes, this would be something fun to shake up WindClan at least for a meeting.

I love love love this plot! I will definitely be trying to do this plot later, once WinClan gets some more tunnelers.

This is really interesting, I'll probably be asking you if I can use this for WindClan later.
@Moonraven So using my newly submitted cat (Flamehare) Maybe, He could kill off a few (4-5, with perms) clanmates before "Disappearing" for a moon (IC return date would be 20-25th depending on reply and finders) Once he makes his return, he starts spreading a rumor about a cat named Fishflight (Will change NPC name if taken) from RC, saying they killed the cats. A few clanmates may turn on Riverclan and want revenge. Meanwhile Flame is causing panic and fear with his lies. Feel free to say if you want changes.
