Rabbiteye slumped in the shade of the camp walls. A sleepless night with a patrol added onto it left him feeling shattered. He wanted to sleep for a moon, but he knew that when he lay down in his nest, the dreams would return. He didn't want to dream, he wanted to sleep.
The brown warrior sighed tiredly, set a blackbird down by his paws to eat. Just a few more hours and he would be done with the day. @ Katiethewolfchild

Birdpaw sat in the clearing, watching a butterfly fly around. Butterflies were such fascinating creatures. They were so beautiful, as was their flight, yet their wings were so delicate. Some butterflies weee much bigger than others and when their babies didn't look like butterflies at all when they hatched. Caterpillars looked more like worms with legs then butterflies. Oh, she could watch the butterfly forever. The buutterfly eventually flew away and she saw a warrior who she thought she had seen before and couldn't remember the name of. She meowed hi! My name's Birdpaw! What's your name? Aren't butterflies so beautiful? Isn't it amazing how butterflies vary so much in size? Isn't it amazing how caterpillars are baby butterflies but look nothing like butterflies? @ GhostCop

Rabbiteye took a bite from the bird, savouring it's flavour. He was still feeling that sense of finality, that everything was going to end soon. He had hoped it would be gone by now, but it wasn't. It made even the simple things like eating feel like something special, like every meal should be a celebration. And oh, this piece had been in his mouth for way too long.
"Hi!"
Rabbiteye swallowed his bite and looked up. Sombre blue met bright yellow. His ear twitched slightly as the bubbly apprentice chattered on. When there was finally a gap for hi to speak, he decided to at least answer her first question, before sending her on her way. "Rabbiteye."
As for butterflies and caterpillars? True, they did vary in size and colour. "As do cats, and really, most other creatures. Even mice have uniqueness. Though as far as I know, caterpillars are the only ones who can change their appearance so completely." he took another bite, and wondered if that was all.

Birdpaw sighed upset. Awww.... Maybe she could see if she could find a spider building a web or maybe watch some butterflies flying around some more? Or caterpillars eating leaves or a beetle that could fly flying around or or or well she didn't know what other animal she could watch but there must be something! Yeah! She better go and do that! The hyperactive underaged apprentice meowed bye-bye Rabbiteye before bouncing away, now happy once again. He had said that his name was Rabbiteye right? @ MockingRabbit {This is most likely my last post, sorry the rp was so short}

"Goodbye," the brown warrior murmured. He watched the apprentice leave, face a mask of blankness. He finished his bird, then went out to hunt. Later, he would go o his nest and actually fall asleep, his dreams filled with transforming caterpillars.
