* As a young woman by the name of Mira walked through the safezone she spotted a group of people lined up against a wall being tested for the infection. One of the workers tried to run but was shot and killed. She walked on by not noticing where she was going. *

Clara Winglet stayed still in the line. She was scared out of her mind. The young 13-year-old girl was shaking slightly as a boy started to walk nearby them. Her blue eyes widened as a man tried to run, but was quickly shot. She stood straight right away, trying to keep her eyes straight. Her black hair was getting in her face, but she ignored it, keeping her back against the wall, feeling sweat drip down her face.

Marissa was settled behind some boxes, watching everything. She kept hold of her dagger. If anyone tried anything, they would lose an eye. She'd make sure of that.

* As she walked by the boxes she stopped and sat down. Her hands were shaking and she sat there watching the other girl in the line who seemed scared. She looked down at her hands and it held a necklace from her mother. *

Marissa paused upon noticing Mira. She cautiously approached her, keeping hold of her dagger. Her bag rested against her hip. Her dark brown hair, which was pulled up in a messy bun/knot on her head, was so dark it was almost black. Her eyes were a peculiar shade of amber, almost yellow. She held her head high, looking confident and beautiful. She wasn't about to be intimidated by a couple of strangers. Her face softened a bit when she saw Ciara. She had had a sister once.

Clara wasn't sure why she was there. She didn't feel sick. She heard rumors that this was some testing for something. She wasn't sure what it was, but something told her it was something bad. Her blue eyes landed on a girl, not in the line, who met her eyes for a few seconds before looking down at some necklace. Clara's hands went to her left ear, which had a silver earring locket on her left ear with a picture of her parents.

Marissa shivered lightly and pulled a jacket from her bag. Her cropped tanktop and shorts did nothing for warmth. She tucked her necklace under her shirt and walked towards the younger girl, yellow eyes kind.

* She stood up and walked over to the guards testing the group of workers. *
" Hey, bring her over here and leave us. "
* She said pointing at Clara. The guards walked over to Clara and lifted her up carrying her to Mira. As she said this she turned and lightly waved at the girl behind her. *

Clara looked up when a girl walked over to her. She pushed herself against the wall in fear. She yelped when guards lifted her up and carried her over to Mira. Clara got her balance back and looked at the girl who had ordered her out of the line. She waved shyly, still scared.
