Hello lovely WCO members! With the temporary exile of RiverClan happening soon, the high rank team is looking for members to help us bring to life a rogue group similarly structured to a Clan called the Atari! The Atari will be the main antagonist for this plot and will interact heavily with RiverClan during their time further into the mountains of Rugged Range.
The Atari will have ranking similar to a Clan, but do keep in mind that these ranks are not considered high ranks and as such do not have high rank privileges. They do however have the ability to control and corral their group as they see fit and will be in constant communication with the RiverClan High Rank team to ensure smooth flowing of the exile plot.
In addition to being the antagonist for RiverClan, this group will also be going after a smaller group that also reside in the mountains where RiverClan will be temporarily staying. Their feud with this group will have lasted at least a moon or more before RiverClan shows up!

Crown: The leader (and their family) of the Atari and whose word is absolute law. They govern over the entire group and dictate traditions, beliefs, values. Though the Atari have a few sacred traditions, these can change at the discretion of the Crown and are expected to be upheld with the lives of those in the Atari. Whenever the Claw of the Crown advances to this rank, their claw wound on their shoulder becomes an 'X' to differentiate them from the rest of the Atari.
Claw of the Crown: Second-in-command and the cat next highest up on the hierarchy underneath only the Crown (and family). They are typically tasked with overseeing battle training and implementing new, individualized fighting techniques for the rest of the Claws in the Atari. When the Crown is unavailable, they are in charge and are able to make decisions. To separate them from the rest of the Atari they are marked with a single slash claw mark on their shoulder from the Crown themselves at their rank ceremony.
Healers: Those with a gift in medicine and healing the sick and injured. Normally there are at least two in the Atari at all times so that if one becomes unavailable the group is not left without medical care. They focus primarily on healing physical ailments of the Atari.
Claws: They have a natural-born ability for fighting and violence. Often at the forefront of battles and making up the majority of the group. Work well in teams as well as individually. They are expected to give up their life for the Crown. Additionally they hunt for the group as well.
Trappers: Masters in the entrapment of various other animals; other cats, prey, predators, etc. They hone in on their skills of stealth and pragmatic thinking to create complex traps that render their victims immobilized until either the Claws or the Crown themself arrives.
Initiates: Those who are in training to become a Trapper or a Claw - or in rare cases, a new Claw of the Crown if the current Crown finds them more fitting than the current one. They participate in rigorous daily training and are tasked with upkeep of the Atari’s camp.
Keepers: Those who take care of the younger cats in the Atari. They are tasked with the enrichment of the younger Atari members and are responsible for overseeing their livelihood during the age in which they are too young to be made into either Claws or Trappers.
Young: Kits and newborns who are not old enough yet to become a fully fledged member of the Atari. They are watched over by the Keepers.
To keep this short and sweet, applications for all ranks are open! In character, this group will have been established for some time and have lived in the place they call The Crag for generations. However, at the end of this RiverClan plot, their group will be disbanded - so this will be a temporary rogue group! Not to give away too much, but if you find you want to continue roleplaying your Atari group member, they will be given the opportunity to join RiverClan as they return home.
There's no form! I just need to know which rank your character is applying for! For Crown applications: please include 1-2 traditions your character would've established for the Atari since their ascension to leadership! For Crown and Claw of the Crown applications: they must have the marks outlined above! For Healer(s) applications: pending staff approval, these cats will have pre-existing herbal knowledge for their role! For ALL APPLICANTS: I will need the gender an a brief physical description of your applied character to add them to the allegiances!
If you apply for either the Crown, Claw of the Crown, or Healers, please include what secondary rank you would like them to have incase they are not selected for the applied rank.
Any applicants not for the Crown, Claw of the Crown, or Healers will be automatically accepted and added to the allegiances below! The three other ranks will be determined by the RiverClan High Rank team with a deadline to apply for them ending on 6/15 by 11:59pm EST.

FAQ: Q: Can I apply for multiple spots? A: Absolutely! However do keep in mind that, if selected, you will only be selected for one of the "higher ranks". But you're welcome to apply as many Claws, Trappers, Initiates, Keepers, and Young as you can manage!
Q: Do they follow traditional Clan naming rules? A: Nope! Since these are outsiders with little to no knowledge of the Clans, their names can be anything that a general rogue or loner would be named!
Q: Can my already existing outsider be apart of the Atari? A: Yes, but they would be considered a new member or new joiner! This group has been around for generations and has never left the mountains they live in, which is why they have little to no knowledge of the Clans!

Crow was born into Atari during it's early days. Named after his pelt, crow is a pure black cat with a ragged coat and a single white paw. His eyes are a deep amber, and his pelt is often stained with blood, as well as his scent.

Crow has been ruling Atari for some time, around 20 moons or so. In that time, he has set in place new traditions. Crow shows no mercy to anyone, even his own group. So to ensure that Atari remains strong and untited, he set in place these things.
THE FEAST
Once every moon or so [or after a battle has been won], Crow gathers every member of Atari [minus the kits] and lets them head to [insert territory location]. Once night falls, Crow leads Atari on a hunting spree, killing anything and everything. If something like a wandering cat or a badger were to stumble across them during The Hunt portion, they would show no mercy and kill them. Once dawn breaks out, they round up all the prey hunted and bring them back to Atari's camp. All the prey is laid out for Atari to feast. The cats must wait until the Healer, Claw of the Crown and Crown pick their food, as well as Keepers picking out food for the Young, out before feasting. Once they have done so, it is a free-for all. Cats can steal, eat, share, and fight for the food. Once the day is over, The feast ends until their next victory/next moon. This is also a chance for Initiates becoming a Claw to prove themselves worthy of the role of Claw. If a cat fails to hunt anything during their hunting period, they cannot eat anything at the feast and must wait until the feast has passed to feed themselves.
If a cat who did not contribute to the hunt eats during the feast, or a cat Steals/Injures a young [or any one of the higher-up rankings], they are subject to punishment, and Crow will not be nice. The punishment depends on how severe the rulebreak is. At minimum, the worst is no food at the feast until the next day, while the worst... well they don't survive, to put it simply.

Aster enjoys the spotlight, so long as she continues being praised the whole way, though if gold believes she messed up even slightly, she hates herself for it. As much as it wants to talk about her mistakes, she doesn't want to take the risk everyone forgot and she reminds them of it.
She wants to seem perfect and serve the Atari the best she can. The second gold's mentioned positively, she gets a jolt of happiness, like a dog. It seems to radiate joy after speaking to someone without being corrected, being stared at, etc.
She tends to rant a lot, which gold dislikes, thinking other cats dislike her for it.
Also, not mentioned in the traits part but she is violent when it comes to disagreements with cats outside the Atari. Within it, gold'll simply tell them to stop and if they don't, they get a whack. Not a big whack, just a tiny whack w no claws.

Personality :Hawfinch is a fighter and very much of a brute he is a cat who isn’t easily swayed in his decision making while he isn’t very vocal at gatherings/meetings he keeps his ears open for any whispers of mutiny against the crown. He is extremely fond of young and the imitates he often partakes in young games and tries to teach them the history and traditions of the Atari cats
Kithood:He had a surprisingly good kithood being raised by his loner parents Finch and Mac,He was named after his mom finch he has a sister (tbd who) who he is extremely close with he tries to value his family and still keep good relationships with them.

Rattler is a charismatic, yet focused cat. He is very brutally honest when it comes to injuries of other cats, though is outwardly very friendly and convincing.
No matter what, though, he will do as the Crown says. OTHER FACTS
Rattler was raised only by his father, who only cared about his own survival, which is what caused Rattler to learn about herbs, though after reaching 12 moons he joined the Atari with lots of herbal knowledge.
Very good at memorization.
Learned lots about herbs in his kithood due to necessity.

Appearance
Brief: A large tom with dark blue-grey fur with pale markings and darker accents and dark cyan eyes.
Detailed: A large, muscular tom with ruffled dark blue-grey fur and pale blue grey spots on the lower half of his flank. He has a paler chest, paws, tail tip, belly and nose bridge. Darker accents dust his paws, muzzle, tail tip and lower flank. Harsh, dark sea-green eyes.
Personality
Poseidon is an intimidating cat indeed at first look. He's got the look of a warrior who will crush you at any moment just because you looked at him the wrong way, though this might be true so much more lies within this rugged feline. To strangers he is a cat that craves blood and power with greed stronger than any other force. He will stop at nothing to achieve his ambitions, and he's no coward when in comes to having to fight for what he wants. Hardly anything fazes tom, that trait has both it's pros and cons. It depend son whether you're on his good side ot not.
However with the rest of the Atari, Poseidon is much more light-hearted. Loud, jovial an proud, he's an open book when around his Atarimates. He absolutely adores socialising and showing of his achievements while wooing any lady or gentleman he can! Fun-loving and social most of the time he can be seen as quite egocentric and arrogant by some as he only truly cares about himself. Those he captures with his charm our under his protection, not because he cares about them but because they are now his property and anyone who messes with his things get their neck snapped.
However, unnderneath Poseidon's mask of trustworthiness hides a horrible trait. Say one bad thing about him or do one thing wrong...he will go to the ends of the earth to strike them down. It's all silent for a few moments when he's angry before god-like fury is unleashed like a tsunami. Shouting, snarling, claws lashing out, this is what will happen if he is provoked. Thunderous growls and flashing fangs all directed at his now enemy. This bad mood often has fatal results so be warned...

Name: Narcissus Rank: Keeper Gender: Female Brief Description (for allegiances): Kind-eyed and gentle she-cat with soft brown fur Description: As a Keeper, it is Narcissus’s responsibility to ensure the happiness, health, and safety of the Young of the Atari, and this is not a duty she takes lightly--not in the slightest. On a normal day, Narcissus is bright and sunny. She’s always willing to offer advice to any youth who asks for it, always trying to come up with new ways to entertain the young ones, and always doing her best to keep the Atari life cycle moving along smoothly. That they are merciless. That they are cunning. Intelligent to the point of thoughtlessness. So, Vertigo. Where does he fit in in all of this? Well, nowhere. He is none of those things, actually, which is specifically why he decided to become a Trapper, in the hopes that he could create that kind of persona.
Ultimately, the kind of distance created by watching prey struggle in a trap as opposed to under one’s own claw was acceptable, he decided. Surely, it’s got to be pretty noble, right? Providing for the Atari and all that? Never mind the pained expressions of any unfortunate creature who happened upon his traps... At least, it was enough to allow him to fit in with his more blood thirsty peers to a reasonable extent. That being said, though, he is still rather uncomfortable with confrontation and does his best to diffuse any as quickly and as subtly as possible. It may grow difficult to maintain that sort of personality, though, soon enough.
