Creatures unlike anything anyone has ever seen have been spotted all over Earth.

All power and electricity will be shut down by sunset on June 21st, 2037.

All laws(including murder) by June 21st, 2037, go into infect.

All power sources shall be shut down, including power plants, phone service, WIFI, etc.

It's every man, woman, child, and animal for themselves.

The Apocalypse Has Begun.

 

This roleplay takes place in an apocalyptic world in the year 2037 when technology was taking over the world. The roleplay will start with everything normal. Then this newspaper will be thrown at everyone's door. These monsters are all NPCs. You all have a health bar, a hunger meter, a thirst meter, an energy level, and a danger level. You all control those except the danger level. The danger level is based on how close a danger is, like a monster. Any monster is allowed.

She wears black boots with red laces, and she wields karambits in battle. When not using her weapons, she has her katana and knives strapped to her back, and her karambits strapped to her skirt belt.

Behavior/Personality: She hates being told what to do and always expresses herself. She has mood swings and can't sit still if her life depended on it. She doesn't really like her parents and often goes to the park after arguing with them.
Weapons: She is surprisingly good at engineering, as she wanted to work for Nasa and become a Rocket Scientist. She always has some random electronic parts in her cream and pink cloud-designed backpack. She also in her garage has her own lab where she likes to make gadgets and such.

Lifespan: Up to 100 years
Appearance: Normally seen in red-gold or orange scales, seven times bigger than a two-story house, giant bat-like wings, a lighter color for the underbelly and wing membranes, very sharp talons and teeth, a deafening roar, sharp amber, yellow, or orange eyes, a long tail, and has horns on the face.
Behavior: Dragons normally don't attack unless provoked or hungry, but normally do swoop attacks, and are normally in the air. Also, this monster can be sometimes seen wearing treasures like gold, jewels, and more on as well. The more treasure a dragon has, the more important the dragon is.
Attack Methods: Can breathe fire, will snatch you with its claws, can send you flying far away into the sunset with its tail, stomp on you, and much more.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Heat is a strength while freezing temps are a weakness. Weak spots include the underbelly, eyes, wing membranes, and the very end of the tail.

The lifespan of Monster: unknown
The appearance of Monster: a Large white Fox-like creature that has nine long tails, it has a blue and green striped effect as if it was painted in decoration. it often wheres a Mask that looks like a fox/cat face (i forget what its called)
Behavior/Personality of Monster: Calm, But Fierce when threatened. generally a protective being, a Guardian spirit of sorts.
Attacks of Monster: with the power of fox fire they can create vast illusions, and destroy things. at times it can be seen sitting on a cloud of purple/black fire as the strange cloud moves.
Strengths/Weaknesses of Monster: It's Strengthened by the Belief that Others hold in its abilities. It Dislikes Water and Places with Bad Auras

The appearance of Monster: like a deformed wolf-dog that has no fur, it's known for the sticky bones that stick out of its spine and the sharp bones that make up its toes and claws. it has 2 sharp, sable-like fangs that hang out of the top of its mouth.
Behavior/Personality of Monster: Aggressive, Territorial.
Attacks of Monster: Claws, Fangs, and the poison of its spine spikes
Strengths/Weaknesses of Monster: Dislikes anything that can heal or cure, refusing to be near the stuff or people

Name of Monster: Lurker
The lifespan of Monster: 40 - 50 years
The appearance of the Monster: Giant lizard-like creatures, covered in scales that range from white to the lightest blue. There are large frills along the sides of their heads. They have six glassy white eyes but aren't blind. Spines run along their backs, usually light grey. They have large lizard-like feet. Their tails are long and thin, and very powerful.
Behavior/Personality of Monster: Most Lurkers don't attack unless provoked. They are very fast, and can easily climb over rough terrain. Though they are built for agility, their large bodies still hold strength much larger than humans. Lurkers do NOT actively hunt humans and spend most of their time singing. Yes, singing. Not with words, but with a raw and primal sound. Human Song Weavers (people who know how to understand the Lurker's songs) can understand these songs, and if able to reason enough, have a Lurker as a pet.

Strengths/Weaknesses of Monster: Strengths- They feed on weakness and fear, which makes them stronger Weaknesses- The Devourer's song is the only thing that can control them. It's very painful when used on them

The lifespan of Monster: 2037
The appearance of the Monster: Strange hooded figure, whose body seems to move under large monk robs sometimes interspersed with strange physical distortions, it floats above the ground going 10cm to above 5 meters of the ground, his face is unknown, however, its is supposed that no face is present under the hood, just an emptiness
Behavior/Personality of Monster: Always seems to float aimlessly, once "seeing" (more sensing) a prey, it will float higher to avoid any melee contact and will use its attacks, if no prey is near, it will enter a passive stance, not moving and floating near the ground.
Attacks of Monster: Psyonic blast, psychic reaping, fear absorption and psychic barrier, terror
Strengths/Weaknesses of Monster: Strengths: Invulnerable to melee, most powerful when a person is full of terror, mostly immune to bullets because of the psychic barrier Weakness: Vulnerable without any fear, a long cooldown between attacks (does not affect the psychic barrier), if the barrier is bypassed, vulnerable to bullets, vulnerable to X-rays

The lifespan of Monster: 2018
The appearance of Monster: Variable, is mostly composed of random pieces of steel, however, one thing is sure, his face is composed of a heavily damaged human face with a sort of yellow googles replacing the eyes, a faceplate replacing the mouth, it emits a strange sound (see below) and his arms are replaced with sort of metal sharp blades

A flick of the wrench, a weld and Ace lifted his welder's mask and gazed at his new creation, smilling, finally, it was done, on the workbench was placed a human skull, that Ace had founded and modified, he took the skull in his hands and activated it, the skull hums softly and a red lense in the right eye activated itself, the skull rose into the air and deployed small but strong mechanical arms and moved around Ace before positionning himself near the his shoulder, awaiting orders, Ace spoke, with a calm voice "Servo 1-1, lifeforms scan in the perimeter of 5 meters", Servo 1-1 lifted himself a bit higher and his single lense sparkled even more and said with a mechanical voice some seconds later "Scan completed, detected 1 humanoid lifeform detected, 2 lifeforms equivalent to rats detected, should I run a deep scan?", Ace smiled, it was working, he responded "Negative Servo 1-1..." he walked to the window of the workshop and leaned on the edge, looking out in the street...

Ah, the mountains of Alaska. Ari had traveled on the back of their Lurker for months to get here. They had fought through blizzards, through unforgiving forests, and faced multiple monsters of the apocalypse. Though there would be dangerous animals, they knew that edible animals were just as common. Ari leaped off of their Lurker buddy, giving him a pat on the neck. The serpentine creature answered with a low purr. "Alright Cricket, we need to find some shelter." They said to the Lurker, running a hand along his smooth (slightly wet) back. "Shelter." Cricket sang, nodding to Ari. Ari pulled the hood of their yellow hoodie over their head, and rubbed their hands together. They climbed back onto Cricket's back, slipping in between his thin spines. "Shelter." He repeated, and Ari gave his neck a pat again. Snow began to fall onto Ari's shoulder, and they gave a sigh. They'd have to find shelter soon, otherwise, they'd be caught in a blizzard.

Ciara was in hiding. She was not scared. Living in Hurricane Utah was harder than she thought. So many monsters. And the buildings weren't helping either. So many of them were dangerous. However, some were safe enough, or docile, or... something else... Don't think that. Ciara stretched her arms and ran through the streets of the abandoned city. She moved swiftly as to not get spotted by anyone or anything.

On Cricket, Ari moved swiftly through the rough mountain terrain. They sang quietly to the Lurker, stroking him with care and respect. Even though most would see Cricket as a monster, Ari saw him as an ally. A friend. They would never use him as a weapon, unless he decided to fight of his own accord. Ari had to squint against the thick snow that pelted her and Cricket, and even the Lurker let out a small chirp of annoyance. Ari pulled and arm up in front of her eyes, and though it did little to block the blizzard, at least it did something. The wind howled past Ari's ears as they searched for some form of shelter. Their hoodie did nothing against the freezing temperatures, which had already numbed their fingers and toes. "Do you see anywhere to stay through the storm?" Ari sang to Cricket, who answered with a shake of his head. Ari's shoulders slumped. If they didn't find shelter soon, the two would surely freeze to death out here. Ari could feel the large Lurker shivering beneath them, and now they could barely feel their face. They gave a shuddering gasp. A small cave could be seen, just a small grey pinprick against the neverending white. Ari pointed in the direction of it, singing to alert Cricket of it. The Lurker quickened his pace, practically diving into the cave. Ari climbed off of Cricket's back, letting out a sigh of relief. They sat down, back against the stone wall. Even if it was still cold in here, at least there was no snow pelting their back. They looked at Cricket, who was already curling up on the floor. "Sleep..." He sang softly. Ari crawled over to him, laying her head against his side. The sound of the snow outside lulled them to sleep, and they entered the dream world... one where there were no monsters to worry about... no freezing cold... no nothing.
