Withered padded behind her into the den and sat down in front of her. He glanced around the clearing, nit hearing a word she asked, but then it rang in his ears. "My name's Withered. Whats yours?", he replied. Withered wrapped his furless tail around his paws.

Withered looked at her, "A lot of things happened to me.", he replied. He had a lot of cats that had beat him up after they were nice to him for a day then turn their backs on him the next.

Ashes awoke from her sleep, she looked to her right, noticing that the other cat was still sleeping. She hopped up, after noticing her hunger. She went out to hunt.
Peering through the forest, making sure not to make any signal of her presence. She stopped to sniff the air, noticing a faint smell of a squirrel in a bush not to far from her right.
Ashes kept her belly close to the ground, as she crept toward the bush, the squirrel peaked out, and Ashes pounced onto it, swiftly ending it's life.
Ashes picked up the squirrel.
Ashes walked back to her den, and noticed Withered was still sleeping, she nudged the cat's side, intending to wake him up.
