“Hello, is anyone here?” Daisykit mewed. She was crying in her nest when she woke up here. The forest was so large and dark.

Darkmoon let out a small, short snicker. What a small, puny thing. Creeping forward, tail lashing eagerly, she almost leaped out and shredded the kit, before a small voice in the back of her mind whispered in her ear. 'Don't kill the kit, she could be of use to you in the future.' Her brow furrowed in thought. Was that the best idea? No, probably not. But, if the kit proved to be useless, she could simply kill it. It looked very scared, pathetic. When she had first found her way into the Dark Forest, she wasn't scared, because she knew she belonged here. The forest seemed to fit her, and she hadn't left since. Even though she had died a few moons ago, she had become a common occurrence here, even before death she had spent too much time than she should have here. This kit didn't seem to belong here, but she had been wrong before.

Padding forward, a small grin fixed on her face and her cold golden eyes warm with maternal affection, she approached the mite. ''Are you lost, little one?''
