passing the torch

hiya! so it's kind of been a tradition for my girl Ashenkit's caretakers to use their dying breath to pass along the torch of her guardianship. Like, her birth father, Timberwolf passed along the parenthood to Lightdance before he drowned, and Lightdance died of sickness a few weeks later, and she passed it along to Oliveheart. Oliveheart isn't the best mother she's abusive and short tempered, so Ashen's not having the best time. I'm looking for a permanent adoptive family for her, now.

 

so Oliveheart and CAT are out on a walk, when Oliveheart is bitten by an adder. The venom spreads too fast, and she dies. Before she dies, she has the forethought to ask CAT to be Ashenkit's caretaker from now on.

It doesn't seem too complicated, but it is more of an undertaking than one may think, considering how this cat will be her parent. I want this to be the last family jump she has to do, so activity is absolutely required. Ashen will also be pretty upset over Oliveheart dying, even though she's a hero, she still is her mom, so she'll need to be comforted.

Requirements for CAT are:
- they must be a good cat that cares about her, a good role model and parental figure
- they must be older than 18 moons of age
- MUST be active or you're fired /j

And I'm too lazy to make a form, so you can use your own layout for the application! This is not first come first serve <33

Hello my wonderful friend! I am here to apply after this thread has been up for roughly two hours because once I saw it I knew I had to apply.

I am here to apply Sunshadow, my recently new main and fitted for the role of caretaker to Ashenkit. Unfortunately, I cannot make fancy form because I have a bio for her and that has all the information needed.

But, I think Sunshadow would be a good cat for the role because she’s a motherly type cat and would absolutely take care of Ashenkit and give her as much care and attention that she wants. She’d be a good role model because since she’s my main I’m getting her involved in important things around Thunderclan and she would gladly teach Ashenkit how to be a good role model to others. She could also help Ashenkit understand the basics of hunting if she wanted to so that when she does get to it in her apprentice training she won’t struggle or find it difficult.

Well, that’s all I’ve got to say but I can definitely try and add more if you wanted to. @poppy.

@poppy. Hi! Do keep in mind snakes found in Maine (where WCO is located) aren't actually venomous! Cats would not die from a snake bite
