Hairless Spinekit
Can I have a hairless cat if she has the Well-Insulated purrk? She won't be bothered by the weather then, so like, her hairlessness won't kill her in the winter. Is that Okay?

Hey! So I saw a question similar to this a while ago, and I'm just going to quote what somebody said -
Quote:
unfortunately, hairless cats are too rare to be allowed as clan cats - there's only around 15000 registered spynxes for example vs 600,000 maine coons, and other hairless breeds are less documented and still very uncommon.
if your cat had thin fur, well insulated could help your cat but it isn't immunity to the elements. well insulated only helps cats in the direct weather regard [hot/cold days, storms etc]. for example, if it was a cold/snowy day, the cat would not be harmed by the frigid air but if they fell into a pile of snow they would feel the effects of freezing/could get sick.

So, she couldn't be a hairless cat, from what i know [staff pls correct me if i'm wrong]
The thread I found the quote in is here

Re: Hairless Spinekit
Cats can be born with a skin sickness that can shorten or even get rid of fur unless taken to a vet (which in a clan you cant), so although hairless cat breeds are rarer that doesnt mean you cant have a hairless cat (though it is a family/litter thing so if your giving them siblings they all might be furless for the sake of realisticness), As for the purrk id discuss with staff about the character be resistant to heat rather than cold and also since they are hailess being mor eprone to take fatal injuries in combat
(staff if you dont like this then correct it)

hi! i'll go ahead and reference an old reply of mine for this-
