Appledream smiled and fluttered her eyes, standing up with a swish of her tail. She confidently stepped forward, holding her head high and looking back at Thrushpring to make sure he was coming. "Of course, anything you say~" she smiled sweetly, purring quietly as she walked. Her fluffy fur rustled in the breeze, looking like flowing stalks of wheat. She formed a story in her head, she was walking with Thrushpring, the bravest tom in camp who happened to be a hero in an attack on camp from rouges, none of this was true, of course, but it helped Appledream explain why she liked him. Overall, she found him a bit underwhelming, though she certainly would stop flirting now. The thing that kept her going was the fact that they were friends now, and that meant she was closer than ever to Thrushpring. The only thing was that she didn't want to be his mate, or else that would get boring very quickly. She didn't think she would be able to settle down like that because she still couldn't trust anyone enough for that, she would just have to settle with flirting for now. After all, she was still a young cat and didn't want to get tied down too quickly.

Letting out a grateful purr at his words, Gingerblossom flicked her ears a bit, looking upwards again at the rim of the tulip she could see against her head. “I’ve noticed that some cats just don’t approciate the beauty of flowers. Well, the beauty of nature itself. I wonder if they ever take the time to slow down for a moment and realize just how lucky we are to live in this beautiful place.” Gingerblossom knew that she would always find time to appriciate the beauty of the world. She loved looking at the small and simple things that made their world such a beauty to live in. She wasn’t exactly sure if Blazingcomet was one of those cats though.

Lost in her thoughts, Gingerblossom almost missed the tom’s next words. But she caught ahold of them, knowing what he was talking about, but still not quite understanding the situation. “Umm, yes?” She meowed, her statement coming out more like a question. She then listened intently as he continued on. But as he finished, Gingerblossom felt a stirring of something inside her heart. The way he was smiling, how his eyes were bright, Gingerblossom suddenly had a feeling like she might not get along with that cat. What are you thinking? She’s made Blazingcomet happy! That’s amazing, right? The voice inside her head tried to battle with the one inside her heart. Gingerblossom didn’t know what to feel. After a moment of blank staring, she gave a forced smile, something she’s never really had to do before. “That’s great Blazingcomet! I’m glad to see you’re happy.” But her facade was hard to keep up for the confusion she was feeling. And Gingerblossom wasn’t really one to hide her emotions very well.

Listening to Gingerblossom talk about flowers had an almost soothing effect on the tom. The way that she sounded so calm, but almost - well - passionate about the small colorful things made his heart skip a beat. Just about, anyways. Blazingcomet already knew she was off limits, he had told himself that many times before, and he was telling himself again now. Besides - he was going to have a family, eventually. He wouldn’t let anything get in the way of that again. ”They really make you happy, huh? I bet you’d be mates with a flower if that were possible,” He teased lightly, with a bright smile. The she cat still seemed so happy and innocent, Blazingcomet wondered if it was possible to make her have negative feelings. He knew he’d had them… multiple times. There were so many things he thought about - everything from the strange, weird stirrings he’d get every once in a while with Gingerblossom, or how he wished he’d done things differently with Drizzleshard.

Maybe, if he’d just tried harder… if he had put more effort in, if he had just listened a little harder, stuck around more, not fallen in love with another she cat… things would have been different. But he hadn’t tried harder, he hadn’t put more effort in or stuck around or listened a little harder, and he hadn’t not fallen in love. He wished he hadn’t met Petal, almost. It was a horrible thing to think and Blazingcomet regretted it almost as soon as he thought it, but he knew he at least partly believed it. If he hadn’t met the she cat, maybe his relationship wouldn’t have been wrecked. Maybe he would have been able to hold onto it for just a little bit longer. Gingerblossom’s next words confused him. They sounded happy, they really did… but her smile looked off. It looked like she was lying to him.

”Gingy, are you okay? Where’s the pretty smile I’m so used to getting?” Where was the smile that lit her eyes up, that had nearly taken his breath away the first time, that he had gotten used to seeing? Where was the cheerfulness on her face that showed all of how pure and sweet she was? Where was his friend? Now, Blazingcomet wasn’t so oblivious to feelings that he couldn’t see things - or tell things. But with Gingerblossom, it was different. She had always just treated him like a friend. Like he would never be anything more than a friend, with her, but not… not with her. So he had given up. Was it possible that he could have been wrong in the first place? And if not, then… what was happening?

Thornkit couldn't hold in the laughter that seemed to make his whole body shiver in glee, slowing him down. After a few seconds of laughing he finally started accelerating again.

An ebony feline padded slowly out of the warrior’s den, her face clear of any expression. The she-cat padded over to the fresh kill pile and picked out a small mouse. The pile seemed to be growing smaller so she made a mental note to send out more hunting patrols later. Auroraflame then padded over to a patch of thicker grass and settled down, trying to ignore the slight tickle that the blades of grass gave her. She began eating, all the while thinking about many things.
Soon enough she was finish and she settled her chin down on her paws, quickly pushing the pile of bones to the side first. She let out a sigh and closed her eyes. The deputy was tired, despite having just taken a nap. She also noticed that she wasn’t feeling particularly happy. Something was bothering her but she couldn’t really put her paw on it. Perhaps it was just because she was tired, although she doubted it was. There was something that was upsetting her but she couldn’t seem to identify it. It wasn’t what she would call a major problem, although she did want to figure out what it was and then stop thinking about it. Her tail twitched in annoyance before she let out another frustrated sigh. Maybe she would be able to sleep her worries away. With that, she pushed every thought to the side and did her best to fall asleep.
After a few minutes of trying, the deputy gave up and sat up. She scanned the camp, searching for someone who didn’t look too busy right now. She could always tending to duties to take her mind off things, after all, finishing her work for the day was always a satisfying feeling but she really didn't feel ready to complete her duties just yet. She wanted to socialise with somebody. Socialising always cheered her up a little. With a now determined look in her icy hues, she tried to spot a cat who didn’t look occupied.

Blackbuck awoke from his slumber. His muscles ached from being on patrol duty earlier that morning. His maw opened in a yawn revealing his sharp canines. He opened his yellow eyes, pupils narrowing to slits when the sun's rays hit them. He blinked for a few moments allowing his eyes to adjust to the light. He had been sleeping beside the elders den. One of the more quieter places. That and he enjoyed listening to their stories. He could have slept some more but a frustrated noise from closeby woke him. He peered over to where the sound emanated from. His unpleased expression of being woken up soon changed to amused as he watched his deputy fight the frustration of not being able to sleep. She seemed to be bothered by something, what Blackbuck didn't know. Chuckling softly to himself, the large feline stood up, stretching his body, the muscles beneath his pelt rippling as he moved. His body showed moons of experience fighting, hunting, patrolling. He had done it all and would always do it for the sake of his clan until his last dying breath. Flicking his ears, the tom cat sat down and began to groom himself, silently noting that the deputy now seemed to be searching for someone, he couldn't tell who but he wondered if she needed someone to distract her from whatever seemed to be bothering her. He stood up and padded nearby, eyes glancing at the fresh-kill pile. "The fresh-kill pile seems offly low.." He murmured out loud to no one in particular but loud enough for her to hear. He gazed sideways over at Auroraflame. "Oh hello, Auroraflame." He dipped his head in greeting.

The she-cat was still searching for somebody of which she could talk to when a somewhat unfamiliar voice interrupted her search. She didn’t turn her head but listened to the murmured comment on how low the fresh-kill pile looked. Guilt flooded over her. Perhaps she would have to send out a patrol sooner than she thought. She briefly glanced up at the sky, taking note of how high or low the sun was. It was past sunhigh but hadn’t reached sunset yet. There would be perhaps another hour or two before it was sunset, which was when she usually sent out more patrols. With this in her mind, the ebony feline looked back down at the fresh-kill pile. A few pieces of prey were still up for grabs and she decided that it would be enough to last them till sunset. And surely there were a few warriors or apprentices out there who were hunting right now, not on patrol but just for the sake of giving the clan more prey. With all this information in her head, she finally decided that she would send out the patrols at the usual time but send out more than usual.
“Hello,” Auroraflame finally said as she heard the voice greeting her. She turned her head to face the tom and offered him a small smile. She wasn’t entirely sure about what his name was but she was pretty certain that it was Blackbuck. She hadn’t socialised with him before but from what she could remember from patrols, that was his name. If she remembered correctly, he was just a moon or two older than she was.
Auroraflame heard his earlier comment repeating in her mind and wondered whether or not she should ask if he’d be willing to do some hunting later. She knew that she’d actually sent him out on a border patrol early this morning so she wasn’t sure if she should say something. The deputy finally settled on asking the tom. She wouldn’t insist he go if he didn’t want to but she would at least ask. “Would you mind going out on a hunting patrol later?” she asked, cutting to the point rather than starting up some small talk and easing the question into the conversation. She knew that she could always stand up and find somebody else to ask, somebody who hadn’t yet gone out on a patrol yet, but the camp was generally quite isolated as of now. Other than the queens, kits and elders, not many other cats were in the camp except for those who stood guard or were resting. It was best to seize the opportunity while she could.

As Blossomkit topple Davis him over, she gave a crow of victory and purred. "Gotcha!" She meowed, hopping off the tom. Her tail flicked back and forth and she sat up. "Have you eaten prey before?" She asked, curious. She hadn't yet, but really wanted to try it.

An adorable, fluffy silver-and-gray kitten was tumbling around camp, trying not to get in anyone's way and failing miserably. She finally righted herself right before hitting the wall of an unknown den, skidding and spraying grit and dust everywhere. Ears flat against her head, she sprinted for a tall clump of grass, hot with embarrassment and lashing her tail furiously at herself for being so clumsy. It all started when she attempted to show off her hunting leap to no one in particular, and tripped over the stupid rock just sitting there on the ground. Gosh, did Fidgetkit absolutely hate rocks! Seething, she hid in the brass tussocks, glaring out at the camp and watching the other cats. To fuel her anger, she made up things they might've been thinking- or laughing, really. The she-kit saw a pair of apprentices laughing heartily together and thought stupidly, they're laughing at me. I'm a failure. I hate being clumsy.

Her tail begins to wrap around his paws as she begins to groom her mates pelt softly “ just kidding~ anyway my love where were you? I woke up without you my love. Did you hunt?” She asks with a soft tilt of his head and with a constant happy purr just for him and him only.

Littlelion gasped playfully. "A whole week! But I'd die." The maine coon tom told her. He widened his pupils trying to look as insistent as a kitten. Though it just made him look silly. Truly he was just happy to be with Flamebird, she was perfect for him. No cat in SkyClan could deny that. His love for her seamed to grow more each sunrise like paths warmth of new leaf each day. The tabby's purr met his mate's in both love and joy. Such joy. Only a purr coming from him Littlelion lessened as Flamebird asked were he had gone. "Yeah Auroraflame had me lead a hunting party." He answered the flame colored molly licking her cheek gently. "I'm sorry I was gone when you woke." The tom added softly.
