The year is 2038 and mankind has created extremely human-like robots. But it didn't start with them, it started with robot pets. Cats, dogs, birds, you name it, have been replaced by robot versions. These robot versions don't need sleep, feeding, or even attention. They are perfect and easy to care for. So where did all the cats go?

City of Lunabolt
Several trucks drive in a week after the president of the united states declared all remaining domestic animals be found and transported to tourist attraction cities to boost tourism. The city of Lunabolt, standing where Las Vegas once stood, is a "Curtained" city, one of the first of it's kind. It is covered by a sort of engineered shield that simulates weather and time of day. The shield over Lunabolt makes it so it is always night-time and always raining.
The pets are released by species in separate areas of the city, although the animals brought here are mainly cats, rottweilers, and dobermans. With so many humans and dangerous dogs around, how will the felines survive?
