Whisperbreeze looked down at her. He felt so comfortable with her leaning against him. "My Echodarling," he murmured bac. "Oh, thank you." He felt a purr rising in his throat. "I've always love yours." He leaned down so she could lick his ear better. Oh, her tongue feels so relaxing...so comfortable...so normal...I love it. I never want to let her go.

Someone will betray me... "O-okay..." she whispered. She wanted to stay with him forever... But she couldn't abandon her Clan. And after their... Heated discussion, she couldn't prove him right. She did love him, but..

"My Whisperdarling..." She mewed affectionately. "Thank you..."

"I'm sorry, Echo." Whisperbreeze's tone was gentle, though his gaze was hard. He didn't want to lie to her. He didn't want to lie anymore. I don't want to try, I just want to be.

"My Echodarling," he purred back. "I would do anything. Never hesitate around me. Now, it's getting dark...you should get back before you raise suspicions."

"You have nothing to be sorry for," 'Echodarling' whispered to her mate. "My Whisperbreeze, you have done nothing wrong." She affectionaely nuzzled him, her eyes warm. She looked so different than the cold, rude, untrusting cat she had been yesterday.

Oh, right. It was getting dark. "I'll see you soon," she whispered. "I love you." She licked his cheek before running off. SHe knew if she hadn't, she would have stayed, and she couldn't do that.
