Hollystar silently padded out of the high ranks den, watching her deputy organize patrols. She looked around camp, eyes fixed on the fresh-kill pile. There wasn't much prey, so she wouldn't take any until the whole clan was fed. Hollystar decided to go hunting and padded towards the camp entrance, the breeze blowing in her ear. She scented the air. There was a faint scent of rabbit and mouse, and a stale fox scent. So near to camp? Hollystar thought horrified, but continued on towards the edge of camp.

Onceheart padded towards Hollystar with Birdfeather.
"Do you want to come on our hunting patrol?" he asked.

;Lavenderfur;
Lavenderfur sighed, then looked around. She wondered if anyone would want to be the mentor for Mirrorpaw. She had announced it previously.
"I could probably get Onceheart to do it.." she murmured out loud.

The tom nodded.
"I smelt that too. There must be an abandoned fox's den nearby- we haven't been here long and we haven't had enough of a time to check," he mewed, "We'll stay near camp to hunt." The tom led the three cats out of the camp.

;Birdfeather;
"So, who do you think will be Mirrorpaw's mentor?" he asked, opening his mouth to scent the area.
