It was all rotted, all gone. Beanstar felt panic grip his heart, its claws sinking deep in him. Quickly, he discarded all the rotting prey, hoping and praying to anyone who could hear him that this wouldn't cause problems with predators. This wasn't good. Not at all. ⋙ Cloudjumper heaved the large white-feathered goose on over to the RiverClan prey pile, grunting irritably since the bird was quite the beast to move by himself. Although, he didn’t mind doing this alone since he’d gotten help from Briarfang carrying it the whole way back. He raised an eyebrow at the empty store before him, seeing that this goose was the first fresh catch this pile had seen in quite a while. "Don't say anything, Cloudjumper, remember your karma." He thought and then shook his head before pushing the goose in and then walking away, his long bushy tail swishing back-and-forth behind him.

Firelight added her mouse to the pitifully small prey pile. All that time spent on a patrol in greenleaf and only one piece of prey caught by her. She would’ve gotten more if that apprentice on her patrol hadn’t run off and Firelight hadn’t needed to look for her—but the other option was leaving Falconpaw lost in the forest, which would’ve looked worse for the warrior.
