Silently following after Shadowfur as he left ShadowClan's camp, Larkfire spared neither Enforcer or warrior a word as she walked. It wasn't long before they were in the midst of ShadowClan's territory, and Shadowfur turned around to... suggest that she and Darkfall hunt together? A sidelong glance was cut in Darkfall's direction, measuring the tom's reaction. What were they up to? Amber gaze traveling back to Shadowfur's vivid green one, Lark spoke a single word, voice palpably laced with suspicion. "Why?" She could hunt just fine on her own, thank you very much. No need for a tag-along.

Darkfall looked at Shadowfur with curiosity burning in his gaze. Truth be told, he and Larkfire had never actually gone hunting together, so he hadn’t the slightest clue about her hunting technique. He was getting ready to say as much when Larkfire asked their other companion why they had to hunt together. Glancing over at the female of the trio, he watched her for a moment before returning his attention back to Shadowfur. ”I’m going to have to side with her on this one, why?” he asked the senior warrior.

The black calico she-kit stopped abruptly at the sound of another cat, who was evidently referring to her as she tried to sneak out as usual after midnight.
She turned slowly to see an unfamiliar shape padding toward her, shiny eyes piercing through the darkness and reaching her directly. She looked the size of an apprentice, but the color of her pelt wasn't clear. Moonkit was pretty sure not to have seen her around camp, but maybe she just hadn't noticed. It wasn't like she was much interested in other apprentices, or other cats in general.

"Go back to sleep! I'm going... to the dirt tunnel." She lied, turning again to head toward the dirtplace without watching back to see if this cat had really left her.
Grr, why does it always happen with apprentices? First Pinepaw, and now this one that I don't even know... Never a chance to have some quiet time!

The two toned molly couldn't help but snicker, she could remember her days as a kit, despite it on;y being a moon or two ago, having been made an apprentice at the ripe age of six moons. She had grown restless being confined to the walls of the clearing. Just knowing that there was a world worth seeing she too would sneak out when everyone was asleep to get a taste of it. She let out a soft hum as she cocked a brow "If you're going to the dirt tunnel you're going the wrong way. Unless they moved it from behind the nursery in the last day or so." She calmly stated a grin dusting her face.

She could tell that the feline was going out too why else would they have tried to lie about things? "It's okay if you're trying to sneak out, I won't tell anyone... Just as long as I can go with you! I can't sleep right now spent the last while trying to sleep and it just won't work.." She huffed lightly as she stomped the ground before. Asterpaw had trouble falling asleep quite often, there were times when she could fall asleep in a matter of minutes others it felt as if she never got any rest by the time shone the next day.

"Besides, aren't you about to become an apprentice? I'd really hate for them to hold you back because you were caught, with me I could easily just say I was out stretching my paws or something. It'd be perfect! What do you say?" She said softly tilting her head to the side as she studied the kit's face. She was slightly hopeful that they were willing to let her as it'd make the time go by a lot more quickly.

Foxpaw dropped into his best impression of a hunters crouch. It wasn't too bad, as they had already worked it with her mentor before, but he definitely still needed some work on it. They tried to stalk in that position, but as she had done before, he struggled to move properly. Though they didn't know this, the reason she was having so much trouble was because he was locking their legs into place, preventing her from moving them properly.

Shadefrost had decided to sit closer this time in order to get a better look at how Foxpaw did the stalk. He wanted to help her get the hang of it as fast as possible, which meant that if he had to watch his apprentice's every move like hawk he would. It didn’t take long for the tom to see the problem. He raised his paw and brought it gently down onto Foxpaw’s head, letting it rest there as he began to speak. ”You know, you really need to lossen up. I think it’ll help a lot if you’re not constantly tensing your muscles every time you take a step.”

Unfortunately, neither of his patrolmates seemed to jump at the idea of hunting together. He resisted a growl of annoyance as they both questioned why he was encouraging them to hunt together. Are you both deaf? I just told you why!

Taking a deeper breath than usual to steady his internal feelings, he said, “You two seem like you’re friends with one another. Go… be friendly. Hunting together is what friends do.” He shifted his gaze toward Darkfall, somehow feeling as if he would be the easier one between the two to convince.

Shadowfur was surprised - and mildly impressed - at the strength the outsider demonstrated as he shoved Shadowfur off. Of course, he didn’t follow up with another move, giving the Enforcer the opportunity he needed to go for the killing blow and end this fight.

Leaping forward, Shadowfur aimed a powerful blow at the cat’s throat. If it hit, it would slash through his skin and cause him to bleed profusely.

Foxpaw shook his mentors paw off their head quickly. She did not like it there. But he did listen to what their mentor said and tried to loosen up her legs and overall stance. He succeeded some, and then tried to stalk in that pose, finding it a good bit easier. "Like this?" they asked.
