Blizzardkit couldn’t believe it, he was probably about to become an apprentice. He was growing up so fast. He had already shoved to the very back of his mind his mother and littermates and had accepted his adoptive parents as his new parents. He wanted to have fun one last time before he became an apprentice. He spotted Almondkit and flounced over to the kit and swatted at Almondkit’s tail happily.

Freckles followed the strange cat into the Riverclan camp. Looking around, he noticed that he was standing in a large open space that led into a couple different holes. That must be where the cats sleep, he thought. And Sootflare and Lionstar must be there leaders!. Those definitely don't sound like normal house cat and loner names, he thought. It must be something that only the clan cats do.

"Let me guess." Nightclaw meowed, turning to Freckles. "You're wondering who Sootflare and Lionstar are." "Come on, Lionstar! Sootflare!" "Welp, come on. I'll show you our territory." Nightclaw growled, padding out of the camp and again, waving her tail for Freckles to follow.

"Ok", he said, following the strange cat back out of camp. "While we're on the subject of names, I guess I should introduce myself", he said looking over at the strange cat. "My name is Freckles. What's yours?"

"A warrior is a greatly-trained member of the Clan, who go on patrols,hunt and fight." Nightclaw explained, her eyes gleaming with a feeling she had not felt when she had first seen this kittypet. "Some warriors train apprentices. If the apprentice passes their assessment at the end of their training, they will more or less likely become a warrior soon. " "We need to get back to the camp."
