Woah. Fizzlepaw had caught it! A sudden surge of pride blossomed within the golden tabby's chest and for a moment he just sat back in shock. Had his apprentice really caught his first piece of prey on his first try? Had he taught that? Perhaps he wasn't such a dud of a mentor after all...

"Yes! Just like that! Good job Fizzlepaw!" Sunchaser couldn't help it as he jumped up with excitement. His apprentice had caught his first piece of prey. Without hesitation the warrior rushed over to the young tom, attempting to give him a lick over the ear. He was just so proud!

Looking down at the catch with a grin, Sunchaser mewed, "Lets go ahead and take that back to camp so you can show Buckstar! Show him the skill you have!" He mainly just wanted to prove that his apprentice was learning under him. "And maybe after, if you want, I can show you my favorite flower spot!" Excitement coursed through his veins, his whole demeanor changing as his tail waved behind him.

Bluestripe looked around the training cave whiskers twitching impatiently."where is that apprentice",he muttered to himself.

Nightpaw jumped to her feet. "Let's go," she meowed and raced for the entrance. She wasn't sure how much she was going to be able to teach him, but she could at least show him how to do a crouch. @rosetherosey

He looked around the tall trees excitedly. Nightpaw was going to teach him how to crouch and such! Buckpaw was super excited! "So what's the first thing we're going to learn!" He said, excitement filling his eyes. It was hard to tell if he was just having an energy boost or he was like this all the time by how normal it looked to see him like this.

Nightpaw stopped and thought, trying to remember Spidercrawl's lesson from earlier. "Okay," she began, "I think I'll show you the crouch first." She got into position, hoping that it looked relatively correct. "Try and copy what I do," She instructed. @rosetherosey

Buckpaw fell into a sloppy crouch, trying to copy what Nightpaw was doing. "Like this?" He asked, constantly moving trying to get more comfortable. It definitely wasn't right but he didn't know any better, a fairly new apprentice was teaching an even more fairly new apprentice something they both weren't experts at.

"Hold on a minute." Nightpaw got up and went over to him. "Stand still. Put your hind paws here and here." She gently pushed his feet into position. "How does that feel?" She looked him over. His back wasn't really straight and his tail was still waving around, but it was alright for the first time. @rosetherosey

"I guess that's a little better." He said, trying to hold the position the best he could. His tail continued swaying a bit, and his back definitely wasn't in the proper position. But Buckpaw thought he was doing pretty well for his first-ever time, considering he had never had training before.

Nightpaw looked at him with a critical eye. "Try and straight your back. And remember to keep your tail still or it'll whack into bushes and you'll scare everything away." That sounded right. Nightpaw began to get excited. Mentoring didn't seem that hard and she was actually having fun.

Buckpaw nodded and tried to do as Nightpaw instructed, attempting to straighten his back. "Did I do it right?" Buckpaw was in a bit of an awkward position, although it seemed like he was doing it right. He attempted to keep his tail from moving, but sometimes it felt like it had a mind of it's own.
