Training had helped her learn every inch of ShadowClan's territory, but there were still secrets she had yet to discover. The faint sound of birds chirping in the distance filled the apprentice's ears as a soft breeze blew by. Mistpaw loved being out and about. She always felt so free. Being in camp was also great, with many cats to talk to and socialise amongst. But being out in the territory would always be her favourite. The rustle of the tree's, the wind dashing through her fur, the soft grass flattening beneath her paw each time she took a step. It was all so comforting and peaceful.
Although of course, there were dangers.
Mistpaw never seemed to worry about the dangers that threatened her. She wasn't wreckless, she wasn't stupid. The apprentice just liked to see the great things, and ignore the bad things. There was always that little thing in the back of her mind that warned her and kept her a little caustious, but the majority of her mind was taken over by freedom.
Mistpaw looked down at her paws curiously. She noticed how they seemed to blend in with the few small mounds of snow that were still here. Leaf-bare was going. And knowing this, Mistpaw felt quite relieved. And it probably wasn't just her that was feeling like that. Hunting was always hard in leaf-bare, and herbs were often hard to find. Shaking her head softly, the ShadowClan apprentice looked back up and focused on what was ahead of her. She could really only see tree's. After stretching her legs, she started to run quickly, letting out soft giggles every so often.

A small gasp was let out as Mistpaw skidded to a sudden halt. No too far away from her, was a dark grey tom. His back was turned to her though. Feeling rather scared, Mistpaw slowly backed away, hoping the stranger wouldn't notice her. Who is he? I've never seen him before, Mistpaw thought. Her purple eye studied the tom caustiously, fear shone in them. Her blue eye, also her blind one, stayed as lifeless as ever. The apprentice knew she should probably go back and confront the trespasser, but being quite a small cat, she would look puny and fragile next to the tom. She really didn't want to face him. I should really go find Foxspring! Mistpaw thought, starting to panic. The she-cat had never faced a trespasser before, and was quite unsure of what she should do. She knew the best she could do right now, was find her mentor. The apprentice whipped around, doing her best not to make any noise, before padding off at a fast pace.
Considering this was particularly new territory, it was hard to find a spot that was able to easily conceal himself, especially with the trees being bare due to the season they were currently in, so really, it was no surprise that any cat would be able to see the dark tom, even in the reeds he was situated in. Hannibal didn't fully expect himself to be hidden by the foliage that was there, especially with it being so sparse, thus why he didn't pad too deep into the territory of Shadowclan, but his location allowed him to see plenty of danger before it could truly come upon him.
Licking his lips, the Syndicate tom sat there, waiting, listening to the sounds of the marshy territory that made up Shadowclan's grounds, taking in the scents and carefully picking through them, a few of them were new, but for the most part they were the same as anywhere else, though the clan did seem to have a particular smell to them just like any of the others, something that came with the location in which they resided. Several minutes passed, nearly an entire hour before he caught the scent of a cat that was approaching, his orange eyes focusing as he was drawn out of his thoughts, his ears angling towards the paw steps he heard coming towards him, from behind. He could hear their paws halt and knew that they've either seen him, or smelled him, though more likely seen him considering he usually ends up covering his scent anyways.
Exhaling, he turned his head and several foxlengths away, he saw a young cat, likely an apprentice or young warrior based on their size and muscle mass. They began to back away and that's when Hannibal fully stood, his gaze locked on the young cat. If they ran, then he would have to end them. He didn't need the whole clans attention brought to him, that would be unfortunate.
Then she turned around and started padding at a fast pace.
Shame.

Like the drop of a dime, he bolted after her, not a sound escaping his maw, not a look of anything crossing his face, his paws flitted across the ground, powering him faster and faster after Mistpaw and the closer he got, the more likely she would be able to hear him coming, his grey paws making extremely soft thuds as his whole body flexed, constricting and releasing like a powerful machine, his hellish gaze focused solely on the apprentice whom he was now hunting. He couldn't have his cover blown. She must be ended.
With a powerful spring of his back legs, he lunged through the air, aiming to land on her back with all of his weight, knowing that it would be enough to force her to the ground, though he couldn't count on it not making too much sound, knowing that the apprentice would very likely yowl for help. He would have to make this quick unfortunately. That's if his lunge had been aimed properly and he landed as he desired.

That didn't make too much sense to him, but he supposed that nothing about this awkward situation did. It was making him feel as though he could just melt away into the shadows-- and if the snow hadn't been so tempting, he just might have. Ocelotpath's hues widened in surprise as he crashed into the she cat. Had that really worked? Funny. You'd think if I were really that charming, I'd have she cats swarming all over me, all the time. Ah well, works well enough for her. I'll have to remember that little trick, he thought with a grin as she landed. That was a pretty neat trick too, though Ocelotpath didn't want to admit it. He was a little embarrassed by her neat landing, and his hues narrowed as snow was thrown all over him, once again showering his now askew pelt with white dots and making him look more multi-colored then Bengal. "Alright, alright, Deputy for the win," He laughed, shaking the snow off once more. There was still a question on his mind, though he knew better then to ask it right then. Perhaps later, once he was in a better state of mind and not with these confusing thoughts. She looked quite pretty right now; especially with the snow sprinkling her silvery pelt. It looked almost as though she could melt into the air like a StarClan cat...which Ocelotpath would have hated.

It would mean he wouldn't ever see his friend again.
(My imaginations seems to be off tonight so bear with me if this'll be short *•* )

Moondancer grinned lightly. Victory! She giggled, trying to cover up her short moment of weakness that she'd been showing earlier. She'd felt really embarrassed, to be fair. She was still conflicted about her feelings. And if it were as she thought, she'd most likely have to keep it a secret for Halestar. Moondancer didn't want to push her luck with the leader so soon after being chosen to serve the clan at an even higher point. She already knew that having kin in RiverClan could potentially get her in great trouble, even though she had not seen her sister and father for months. Jaysong had chosen well when she'd picked ShadowClan, and both her, Moondancer, and the deputy's younger siblings were thriving. If not told about her origins, Moondancer appeared to strangers as but an ordinary, hardworking and loyal ShadowClan warrior. No, Deputy now. She still had to get used to that. She wasn't just a warrior anymore. For however long it'd last. But she would stay loyal to the clan until her last breath.
Shakin her head free of thoughts, Moondancer grinned lightly at Ocelotpath. "So, what brought you out here in the first place?"

{XD don't worry, we all have those kind of days}
The Bengal shook the last bit of snow from his pelt, although he was still cold. There was warmth that had nothing to do with the weather-- since it was freezing outside and bitter wind seemed to be blowing every few seconds-- but he chose to push it aside, surprisingly choosing the colder weather over the unknown source of the warmth. At her question, he seemed to freeze for a moment before clearing his throat and offering a short shrug, like he didn't know what he was doing. When he realized that probably wouldn't be too satisfactory, he sighed and looked down at his paws, lifting them up in turn to stare at his pawprints in the snow. "Believe it or not, I was hoping I'd run into you out here. Kind of an awkward situation, but looks like I met my goal," He mewed with a grin. Although the Bengal feline was embarrassed with what he had said, confessing to his real goal, he decided not to say anything more about it. He once again shifted his weight, lifting up each of his front paws in turn and staring at the pawprints. He had rather large paws-- though that didn't make him clumsy or unbalanced, surprisingly. He glanced back at Moondancer, wondering what her response would be to his strange statement...it had been the truth, but the question wasn't whether or not she heard it-- it was whether or not she would believe it. They had just met, and she was Deputy, so there were-- as always-- questionable intentions for the tom searching for her in the territory.

@Slash-GNR

Nightpaw looked around for Desertpaw. "Desertpaw said she would meet me here. Where is she?", he growled. The black tom licked his white paws and drew them over his ears. Nightpaw then licked his chest fur and stood up, stretching. (Sometimes my paragraphs can be short. Other times they're long.)

A tan and and white speckled molly could be seen peaking over a a short hill. She was late! The female apprentice had promised Nightpaw that she would meet him... here there... she didn't have time to argue with herself over grammar. However, her mind was whirling with how Nightpaw would may be lash out at her. The apprentice did worry a good bit about some thing, and this was one of them. She never would want to disappoint her friends or clan. However, sometimes she really didn't care if she kept a promise until she saw the after affect. "Ugh... where is he?" she asked aloud. Then she stopped. Desertpaw perked her ears and opened her maw to take in the scents of the forest. She then caught it... Nightpaw's scent.

The she-cat then leaped over a dead log on the way to where Nightpaw was waiting for her. Desertpaw could feel her heart racing as she rushed through the snow and slipping a few times on her journey. She had her outward pointing, tufted ears laid back firm beside her head to keep the snow out of them. She was a unique looking female. Her coat was a tan and white with darker brown speckles in them. Not to mention her pelt was long, fluffy, and soft. This gave her beautiful appearance, but she did not like it when others commented on this or praised her for it. Desertpaw was more of a tom-boy, and she honestly would rather roll around in a mud hole rather than groom herself 24 hours a day. She also had large pretty hazel orbs that had green flecks in them. This would sometimes captivate other felines, but she would just shake her head trying to get her conversation with him or her back on track. However, she truly was a kind cat if it were not for her stubbornness, fieriness, being easily angered, and her not being able to hold back her tongue. These aspects sometimes made her difficult to handle, but she does truly try to be her best and do her best.

The female bounded over the last small hill arriving just a few fox lengths away from Nightpaw. "Uh, hey Nightpaw," she began as she trotted toward him. Once she reached him, the she-cat gave his shoulder a few greeting licks before pulling back and pulling her ears back in a sorry and embarrassed manner. "Hey uh, I am sorry that I am late. I truly am," she said in her country accent that sometimes made her scramble her words. She was raised in a barn on a two-leg farm. However, there was a storm, which separated her and her family. She was adopted into Shadowclan as a kit and raised in the nursery, so she still carried her accent, but she considered herself a Shadowclan apprentice. However, sometimes she would think about her family only remembering short memories about them since she was so young. Desertpaw sometimes wished she could see them again, but then she thought about her new family and how she loved them all... well most of them.

Nightpaw looked at her. "It's okay. What do you wanna do?", he asked, gazing at Desertpaw's eyes. @Slash-GNR

The she-cat shrugged, "I don't know... you are the one who wanted me out here," she mewed. "I thought you had something in mind," she said as she looked around then back to Nightpaw. "Don't look at me like that... you know I don't like it," she mewed. "May be we can just go explore?" she asked tilting her head at the tom.

Flurrytail could definitely smell the scent of the hare. She felt her mind go blank just thinking of food. She loved food. This made her giggle to herself. She loved to eat, but she was a bit lazy in hunting. She rather be under a shaded tree, curled up, ready for a nap. If she weren't with her two friends Roseblaze and Mudwater, she'd be doing just that. Not that she minded. She liked the two's company, and felt happy that she were their friend. She flicked her tail at the two, ''Let's go before we lose it.'' She crouched low, sneaking forward, and her eyes entered their hunting mode, ready to attack once the cue was established.

MudWater nodded "yes, lets split up ill chase the rabbit towards than one of us can catch it" He started stalking his paws softly touching the ground as he circled the bush and stood in the opposite side of the she-cats, giving them a signal to split up in case rabbit ran to a wrong side. His heart started beating faster, his senses twitched, he was hungry.

Flurrytail nodded and she flickered her tail towards Roseblaze as she stalked off to the left side in case the rabbit decided to come her way. She couldn't wait until she could sink her fangs into the fresh meat. She was definitely hungry, considering she didn't eat anything at all today. She didn't remember what she did today except for relax, and now she was with her two friends; Mudwater and Roseblaze. This was the most exciting part of the day. The food.
