"I know, but sometimes, there are compromises." He said, meeting her gaze. Ravenwing sighed, he knew how she felt because he had lost other cats like that too, and he knew just how stressed someone could be. "Are you really sure you want a family right now?" He asked. "Isn't it too soon for him to have kits?" He added, growling afterwards. "My relation with Sky is still as alive as it was back when I left ShadowClan, Ivybreeze." He said. "Sherman, I had no news..." He admitted.

Ivybreeze looked at him shocked. "Well I suggested and he said he would love nothing more than to have kits with me!" She said happily. "Besides,
this isn't my first litter either." She said thinking of her two other kits. "Ravenwing, it'll be fine." She reassured him.

"Yes, this might not be your first litter, but these will be the first kits he has to take care of..." Ravenwing said, and he knew just how it felt to become a father, and surely the first litter, any cat actually knew if they were old enough and had a mate. "He's gonna freak out..." He chuckled.

Ivybreeze shivered. "Is your mate around speaking of being taken care of?" She buried her snout in his fur, trying to keep her nose warm. "I'd like to visit Sherman before I leave..." she admitted. "I must make it up to him. He deserves an apology..." she looked down. "Thanks for clearing his actions up for me, Ravenwing...." she said smiling a tad.

Ravenwing looked over his shoulder at his mate. "She's asleep." He said simply and then gazed down at her, shaking his head. "It wouldn't be a good idea honestly... I think just leaving them alone is the best thing you could do." He mewed and layed his head back down, sighing. "I didn't do anything, Ivybreeze." He said.

She looked down. "Oh okay..." she said, her eyes fluttering. The silver tabby curled tighter as she fell asleep against the fur of the two loner cats, smiling.
