Name: Houndpaw (Houndhollow)
Age: 9 1/2 moons
Rank: Apprentice
Looks: Houndpaw's a semi-short Somali mix with a sturdy build covered in a long and somewhat shaggy pelt of deep charcoal gray, with a cream-colored underside. His eyes are almond-shaped with burnt orange pupils flecked with bronze. He smells of crushed pine needles, fresh moss, and ripe elderberries.

Personality: Houndpaw....really doesn't seem like Shadowclan material at first. He's a determined little guy and pretty strong because of his sturdy build, but he's still a friendly kitten at heart, unaccustomed to negativity and pretty vulnerable to it as a result. He's energetic to the point of barely getting any sleep and he's much more emotional than any apprentice his age should be (at least in his mind). Although he's generally friendly, he’s very reluctant to get truly close to or trusting with anybody, especially not after he’s seen what most of his clanmates are like. Houndpaw's dangerously open-minded and a little naive/semi-oblivious because of it, but he's quite adaptable and remarkably perseverant to make up for his less helpful traits.

How well do you know Blackhaze?: Uh, well, not that much
How do you think they will get along with everyone?: Despite wanting to seem more serious and mature, Houndpaw will usually attempt to treat most cats in a friendly manner, but will probably be more cautious of most as time passes.
Why do you want to be here: Hound wants to become as hardened as the other Shadowclan apprentices seem to be, and hopes that harsh training will help make him tougher on the inside and outside, as he feels that it's his greatest flaw.
Activity: Reasonably active, I'm trying to be on here more often but I'll usually try to respond within an hour or two
Role wanted: Hunter/Tracker or basically whatever Blackhaze thinks would suit him best

Houndpaw’s shaggy fur dragged along the slick leaves coating the ground, getting torn pieces of unusually dark foliage caught up between the mussed-up strands as he crept along the forest floor. Lofty ferns towered over him jeeringly, occasionally daring to prod him with the sharpened points of their rain-greased leaves before drawing back at the slightest breeze. He hardly noticed the poking though, no, the apprentice merely focused on just where exactly to place his subtly aching paws next. His muscles were tense from all the stalking he had been doing, bunching up tightly under the tangled mass that he called a pelt, only moaning out silently in protest every now and again. Houndpaw couldn’t remember how long he had been creeping about beneath the undergrowth or what direction he was moving in, the shadows around him too great for him to make out any sort of landmark, but he knew he had been walking blind for some time now. His ears were pinned closely to his head and, through the darkness, Houndpaw picked up the sound of rustling brambles. A startled growl nearly slipped through his teeth, but Hound held it in, trying his greatest not to make a single sound.
