Golden'paw pressed herself down but her stomach fur was not touching the ground so she lowered herself further and felt more comfortable. She glanced up at Meadow'splash looking for a nod of approval @Kyo

Dustclaw nodded. “Yes, and I’m sure we can both agree that you are Treepaw?” He meowed, standing up, to where he his shadow dropped and covered Treepaw. He then stepped away, so he didn’t intimidate the young cat. But he really didn’t care… @TeaHouse

Tree nodded and their size didn't really bother tree, most of the clans had large cats
but it did take away their breath when they saw large cats. They stood up and backed
away as well then took a breath in before mewing "What are we gonna do today?"
They pricked their ears their heart beating steadily in their chest not minding what training it
was they just wanted to finally train so they could finally help out the clan. Tree's smile didn't
falter at that thought.

The tabby tomcat cocked his head a little - no response from Muddyrose. Oh well, he understanded her, so no big problem. Shaking out his pelt briefly he watched her with curious eyes. She was walking towards a tree...? Definetely not what he had been expecting. Curiousity was replaced with confusion bare moments after. What in StarClan's name? Huh, he could not even remember what they'd come out here for. He sighed inwardly, scolding himself for such horrible memory, then concentrated on his mentor again.

...She was leaping. At him.

Fallowpaw gasped, trying to dodge out of the way as fast as possible, but he was a tad to slow, and one of his legs was buried under Muddyrose's weight. He broke away, only now realizing that he was... giggling? Laughing? Chuckling? What did one call it? Probably more of a chuckle... yes, his laugh was way too low for a giggle. It had been a while since he'd chuckled - how had this happened? Quickly he regained his usual serious personality, cocking his head as he looked at Muddyrose.

This was kind of embarassing. Fallowpaw was sure she would not appreciate him chuckling, even if quietly - had he ruined his reputation? "Sorry," he muttered awkwardly. "I did not mean to do that. You know, laugh. We're supposed to be training." He puffed out his chest, attempting to become his usual seinsible self again. "Was that okay? I know my dodge was a little too slow, but I didn't know you were going to attack." His eyes sparkled with determination; he would not fail again.

"Can I try again? This time I'll try to evade quicker. And should I attempt a counter-attack? Though it'll probably be sloppy. I mean, I've never had battle training before... maybe you could demonstrate some, and then I try?" he suggested. Stars, he needed to stop talking, he was blaming himself even more. His unsure personality was annoying him, and he couldn't even talk normally, no, of course he needed to add more and more ideas until everything was a mess.

Dustclaw blinked. “Battle-training,” he muttered, shifting his paw closer to him. “You’ll find that I will train you in the area of battle the most.” He circled Treepaw several times, before stopping and leaning forward close to his ear. “But I’ll need you to trust me when I say that there moves are not dangerous or cruel. They only exist to protect you.” @TeaHouse

Tree moved their head to keep up with Dust'Claw until the tom stopped then tree looked forward and as the the tom spoke for some reason chills where driven up their spine, maybe the way he had said it? "A-Alright" Tree'Paw stuttered. Then angling their lanky body toward the Dust'Claw, where all mentors like this?
