he knew it was going to happen, but beansprout still found that he was surprised as he followed fawnpaw to the front of the crowd. and... wow. there were a lot of cats here. more than he remembered. he took a moment to look at the leaders and take note of them. twilightstar and dawnstar, of course. he would be surprised if the duo wasn't there, to be honest. and... thunderclan had a new leader? he supposed he shouldn't be surprised, especially since riverclan was in about the same situation. it was still disappointing, though. he wasn't quite sure why.

back to fawnpaw. the young cat was already beginning to talk to other cats, so the siamese simply resigned himself to sitting beside her, offering support if necessary. he was more than happy to sit and watch the rest of the gathered cats in the meantime. he offered a warm glance and a brief touch of his nose to his kit's shoulder, and was then on standby. his fluffy tail flicked every so often as he took in the scene.

Cinderblaze leaped onto the seastones, positioning himself in the center of all the deputies. He quirked his eyebrows at the sight of two new cats, and turned his head upwards to see that Snowleap and Sparrowflight had been promoted to leaders. Good, Skystar was finally gone. The tomcat flexed his claws at the sight of an outsider, and he chuckled a little when he saw that Dawnstar and some hairballs already had the trespasser handled. Did these outsiders want to die? He smirked a little, then turned to the other deputies with a carefree, almost amused flick of his tail.

"Those trespassers really think they're strong enough to invade a gathering," he remarked with a cocky chuckle, then looked at the two new deputies, raising his eyebrows. "So you two are new. I wasn't expecting Cinderstar to die off so soon." Of course had respected the ThunderClan leader, but to be honest, she had always seemed old for a leader. He hoped there would be a little more dynamic between the deputies this time, the old ones had been kind of boring.

"Anyway. Greetings."

Another cat approached her as well, though this one was from her own clan. Slatefur, if she remembered correctly. They were making small talk, which she also wasn't too interested in. "Suppose." She was tempted to comment on how low the freshkill pile had been for the past week and a half, but she wasn't gonna say bad things about her clan in front of this... Riverclanner. Speaking of which She turned to the smelly cat. "How are things in Riverclan?" Any recent deaths maybe?

"All fine and dandy. Skystar died though, and now we have Pikestar. Although, he chose Slatewhisker as deputy instead of me." He chuckled, to show that he did not mean it.
