Now, Leopardjaw wasn't particularly the one for laughing, but this... this. Heh. Yeah, this triggered a short cackle from the behemoth of a cashmere, although that characteristically grim scowl of hers resurfaced just as immediately.

"Actually, kid, you're wrong: I was only just recently sent to this hell I call home now, you know. Heh, yeah - throat was bitten out by that little WindCult leader Twilightrat." Leopardjaw pointed with a bloodstained claw at the three neat perforations that were etched into her gruesomely exposed esophagus. "Huh. The more you know, now doesn't it certainly seem that way?"

The bulky cashmere permitted out a snort of irked amusement. "Well, in all fairness, you were the one who had begun to practically beg for sympathy." With her large, dog-like carnassials, Leopardjaw ripped an aging sheathe off her pinkie-claw, spitting it out a moment later and watching - rather satisfied - as it fluttered down into the needle-strewn mulch. "Of course," she continued drowsily, "it's not like asking for sympathy is well... Er, a bad thing."

"It is if you live like me. Cats like us, we don't get sympathy. Especially not living ones like me..." Moonclaw noted. Darkclaw nodded his huge head in agreement.
