Pikekit was minding to himself playfully rolling around in his nest laughing, mama wasnt around much anymore so more room to cause ruckess

He then started to think of other things to do and looking around for idea's, he then saw two other kits chasing their tails which actually looked like fun! so he started to reach around to his but he couldnt reach it

After a few attempts he laid on his back and tried to dangle his tail over himself but there was no tail "No, no, no" he started saying misty eyed before flipping back over and trying to reach his tail tears starting to form "Where is it" he said twisting himself in all diffrent ways as his nub did best it can at the tail motions he was trying to do

He eventually started out right crying trying to paw for his tail that everyone else just had, he started soft sobbing slowly giving up on reaching for his tail which doesnt exist

Cloudykit
A white, Maine coon Siberian cat mix with amber eyes. Long tail

Cloudykit, hearing the kit’s cries, instinctively walked over to the source. A kit with a nubbed tail was crying. He immediately felt sorry and sat down next to him. “What’s wrong?” he mewed, a tad bit confused.

Cloudykit licked at Pikekit’s cheek, showing him that he felt sorry for him. Maybe he’d want to be his friend? Oo! Goodie! He rarely got friends. His energetic nature was too much for them, he guessed

Cloudykit pulled him closer with his long tail, an empathetic expression on his face. He was very excitable, but Cloudykit’s there for you when you’re sad, even if he doesn’t know your name. The white cat blinked. “What’s your name? Mines Cloudykit!” he purred

Pikekit slowly stopped wailing as the other kit was talking until completely stopping a few seconds after they were done

Pikekit sniffled a little bit before getting up and sitting down eyes still full of water "My names Pikekit" he mumbled under his breath while looking at the ground and the other kits long tail which made tears start running down his fur again

"I cant find my tail" he said still sniffling and clearly upset though better in the company of this coudykit

He felt bad for Pikekit. Suddenly, he remembered one of his inventions. “Wait here!” he said, hopping up, running over to his pile of things. He grabbed some sort of contraption This thing seemed very flexible, though it still went limp when worn, it would fit any cat’s tail

He slid it onto Pikekit’s nub. Now it looked as if he had a real tail. Well- maybe. You could still see through it and ther weren’t any coverings or anything to make it soft. It was just the overall basics “Do you like it?” he asked, turning to him. Cloudykit’s tail had been hidden from Pikekit on purpose to make sure he didn’t feel bad that Cloudykit’s was longer
