Woah boy, the chilly air sent a faint numbness through her limbs. Oh how she wished she was cuddling with Lightningstorm against the breeze right now. Oh well. She brought a scrawny looking rabbit in with her. Noticing Fallownose all by himself, she headed over to the deputy. ”Hey Fallow-wallow~ You look chilly, mind if I help you warm up?” she asked, taking up a spot next to him.

Fallownose was curled up in his nest with his nose tucked under his tail in an attempt to preserve what little warmth there was to be found. Luckily, it seemed someone was willing to share their warmth.

The deputy let out an amused huff at Firestorm's tone as he lifted his head, watching as she simply took up the spot next to him. "Not at all, Firestorm. It wouldn't do for either of us to get sick from the cold that leaf-bare brings."

”Great. It’d do you some good to get to know your future deputy better~” She teased softly. ”I know it isn’t much, but would you like to share this rabbit?” she asked, offering a share of her meal. Truthfully she wasn’t all that hungry, but if she didn’t eat she knew she’d never hear the end of it from Lightningstorm (who also wasn’t eating).

The deputy chuckled at Firestorm's words and playfully rolled his eyes. "That means I'd have to be leader first, and I'd much rather Twilighstar stick around for a long time."

Fallownose quickly latched onto her next words, not wanting to dwell on the thoughts of how many lives Twilightstar had left. The offer to share a rabbit was tempting, and he felt himself practically salivate at the scent.

"It smells delicious. Thanks, Firestorm," he purred gratefully, leaning down to take a bite before nudging it back in her direction.

”Twinkles will surely stay leader so long that you turn old and grey!” The tabby said with a light mrrow of laughter. ”You’re welcome by the easy, for the rabbit. I’ll have to show you how great I am at catching them sometime, then you’ll see how great, I, Firestorm the future leader of WindClan am.” she said after taking a bite of her own.

Fallownose allowed the flavor of the rabbit to coat his tongue as he chewed. The cold may have made the texture tougher and lessened the flavor, but it was still his favorite kind of prey.

Swallowing, he laughed at Firestorm's words, leaning in to quickly take another small bite before responding.

"I'm already gray, just not old! But I would love to see how far you've progressed. I still remember taking you and a few other apprentices out to teach you battle moves a long time ago."

Fallownose wished he could go back to those days we're everything in WindClan had been much more peaceful than it was now. Alas, it was impossible, and he would instead have to focus on the future.

Glancing at his nest, he made a spur of the moment decision and gently plucked a feather woven in with the moss out. Fallownose liked to decorate his nest with trinkets he found while he was out and about. He wasn't sure if Firestorm decorated hers, but it still couldn't hurt to show his appreciation for her kindness.

"Here. I found this about a moon ago, and I think it would suit you."

Hollowfoot woke with a jolt, panting. He looked around, hoping he hadn't disturbed the others. Sun trickled through the cracks in the bramble, warmth filled his chilled body. He seemed to be alive. It seemed he had slept in too.

Snorting he shook the bedding from his fur. Thinking of the dream, he wondered if he should consult Lightningstorm. Shaking his head, he sighed.

If I had a dream of that place instead of StarClan though, she may think there's reason for concern.

He flinched, feeling a sting on his face. Bearskull..

He sat, stunned.

Are You Sure? I Was Here When You Finally Went To Sleep And You Bearly Shuffled. You Did Mutter Alot, Witch Isnt That Normal For Ya... She Looked At The Tom..... He Wasnt Acting Right. He Smelled Different Too... Stale And Bloodied. That Scent Ive Heard Explained Somewhere...... What Was This Dream About?
