"Oh." Okay, so a Clan couldn't have two leaders. That was unfortunate for Reedkit! Because he was going to be Clan leader, he knew it! But, if he actually did succeed and become the leader, he would most definitely choose Reedkit to be his deputy. And, of course, stay his best friend forever. "Oh!" This exclamation wasn't filled with disappointment, like the last one. He'd kind of assumed the deputy became the next leader, but Reedkit just confirmed it for him. @Kyrieknight

Reedkit grinned at his best friend. "Yeah! Hey, wanna bet which one of us could have Stormcall as our mentor?" He laughed. "I bet two fish it would be me!"

Fawnkit was about to reply, but Reedkit mentioned the nightmare food. "Ick! Fish!" He hated fish. So he decided to bet on something... safer. And something he liked, but not wayyy too much. "Well, I bet you four mice it's gonna be me!" He didn't know if he could really do that, but he was anyways. @Kyrieknight

Reedkit gave his friend a toothy grin. "Fish might not be your thing, but I expect some when I get Stormcall as a mentor!"

"Agreed. But I demand birds when she becomes my mentor!" Fawnkit mewed, although it was more playful than competitive. He grinned back. @Kyrieknight

"Deal!" Reedkit nodded eagerly, rearing back. "But let's see if you can impress her!" Without warnijg, he threw himself at Fawnkit, laughing all the while.
