Grabbing the animal, Skunkblaze figured Dashingfoot could handle their other prey. With a wave of her tail, she bounded off, back towards camp. Hopefully she could relax after this. Today had certainly been exciting! @Neon Lights

Skunkpelt found himself where he often did - the Thunderglade, the border where he knew trees could be found. Today had been particularly arduous for him - he had made a bit of a fool of himself at the fresh-kill pile in front of his fellow warriors and was still reeling from the embarrassment.

He padded up to his favorite climbing tree - it was particularly tall, with thick bark to sink his claws into, as well as several staggered branches for resting. With a swift jump he landed a couple feet above the ground on the trunk, sinking his claws into its rind and pulled himself to the top layer of branches with ease.

There was something about climbing that he found absolutely exhilarating. Perhaps it was the height he was able to reach, looking down at the earth below and not feeling so small.

The Calliby had been making her way back from the Stream. She'd been a little further down the stream, feeling the need to clean herself off. There was only so much she could clean off with grooming. She was practically completley dried off, fur was much fluffier and curlier than usual.

Ears perked as she spotted a feline. Not realizing it was a clanmate at first she approached cautiously. Tail brushing gently against the blades of grass as she crept forwards. But, once she realized it was just Silverdust she rolled her shoulders and picked herself up straight.

"What are you doing awake so late? Having trouble sleeping?" she asked once she got closer.

"yeah always have a hard time sleeping...so I come out sometimes to walk or hunt." She responds to her clanmate. Silverdust sighed as she hadn't found anything anyway.

Dustsong pelt brushed in the wind.
Today she got to show her apprentince the territory!
That was exciting and absolutely terrifying.
If she messed up singepaw would think she was a weirdo!
She wasn’t going to mess up that was for sure.
As she padded toward the windclan border her pelt tingled a bit.

was it safest to show her the windclan territory first?

She thought hesitant.
She glanced toward her apprentince and in a cheerful meow said

so singepaw this is the windclan border smell it and Tell me what it smells like then if we see a windclan cat tell me why you think they are smaller then us considiring there territory and what there scent is.

Singepaw was still nervous as she followed Dustsong out to the border. The movement reminded her of the way the clan had been on the move when she and her siblings were young kits.

When the two of them made it to the border, she glanced across, examining the territory on the other side. The question her mentor asked didn't seem too hard, at first. But what if it was a trick? What if she gave the wrong answer and embarrassed herself? At least there wasn't a crowd around like there had been at the meeting, but still... Dustsong might not like her if she messed up.

"Uh... it s-smells just like... the wind and... g-grasses. They... they're smaller be-because they don't h-have a lot of t-trees, and probabl-ly have d-different prey." Her voice shook the entire time she spoke, and she just wanted to huddle up into a ball by the time she was done.

She purred and then touched her apprentinces shoulder.

Was she nervous to be around Dustsong? She glanced at her and then thought

She flicked her ears and then looked toward a bush there was a mouse in it whispering to singepaw she meowed
