Owlkit sat in the clearing, the excitable brown and white she cat's grey blue hues searching for her best friend. She felt as though it had been simply ages since she had seen Storkpaw, and since he was able to tolerate her- no, since he actually liked spending time with her, Owlkit had found herself getting jealous at the very thought of some other she cat coming and taking Storkpaw from her. The idea that she wouldn't always be the only she cat in Storkpaw's life made her...frustrated. Oh well, he had a perfect right to make other friends. It wasn't up to her who he could and could not spend time with...although those flirts better stay away. They'll just hurt him, and he's my friend. Owlkit thought fiercely. This was a new side of her...a new, fierce side that made her want to keep her friends hers forever. Interesting as this was, Owlkit should have guessed she couldn't always be an innocent kit forever.

(@Rockstar @SpiralTheRival this might make me cry but here we go iceclaws death from the injuries he sustained in the battle which we didnt get to see) iceclaw laid on the ground breathing heavily his pelt covered in blood and it pooled around him redclaw rushed over to him stoneheart not far behind reaching their brother they looked down at him with expressions of horror and shock "iceclaw hang in there we'll get you help" redclaw said about to dash off but iceclaw raised a paw and stopped him "no its too late for me brother im not gonna make it im so glad though that you two came back to the clan so i could spend some time with you guys my only regret is that i wont be able to see my kits grow and get dawnfrost" he told stoneheart his voice growing weaker stoneheart nodded and dashed off to the nursery to get dawnfrost

Maplefur sat alone in the Thunderclan clearing, still not completely healed after the battle. "Stupid leg," she hissed through clenched teeth as pain laced through it. She had injured her hind leg during the battle, and had since found that doing most hurt it. She had been walking for a limp, but had high hopes that it would vanish as her leg got better. "It'll heal soon," she huffed, leaning down to lick the injury. She glanced around the clearing, wondering how the rest of her clanmates were doing.

Apurva saw the cat from the battle, Maplefur, was it? She padded up, wincing as a few deeper scratches in her shoulder were bothered. She sat down about two tail lengths off, glad to see that the friendly ThunderClan molly had survived the battle. “Hi.” she meowed quietly, her voice a hoarse whisper. The pretty molly wrapped her tail over her paws. “You're Maplefur, right?” she wanted to confirm that this was indeed the same cat. It looked the same, but all the ThunderClan scents were sort of mingled to her, except for one scent, but she didn't smell his.

Maplefur raised her gaze to this molly, the name easily coming to her. "Yes, it is. Apurva, right?" She asked, just to be certain. "Glad to see that you're doing well." She looked the molly over, noting some wounds that hadn't been there before. "You took a beating too then, huh?" She asked with a light chuckle. It was all worth it in the end, though. She shifted her position so she would be facing more towards Apurva, happy for some company.

“Yep.” Apurva confirmed, then shifted. “And yeah, but it's nothing too bad.” she adder, flicking her tail. She was glad it was again safe to talk to ThunderClan cats without having to worry about being attacked and turned in to Ratnight. She shuddered, trying not to think of what had happened after she'd reunited Lionpaw with his family. She looked at the calico's fur, seeing that there were a few new wounds that hadn't been there before. They'd both taken a beating. It's good to not have to worry about being attacked by these cats.... She thought, flattening her ears for only a heartbeat.

Maplefur smiled. "No, you're fine. If you didn't find out now, from me, then you'd hear some sort of nonsense made up about it, so might as well tell you the right story while I can." She rolled her eyes, already guessing the gossip her clan mates would start about Apurva. It's a shame too, cause she really is just a nice cat. "I was born a kittypet too, but I left when I was a kit and found this place. It sucks at first- the clans aren't the most welcoming to newcomers, and even now not everyone accepts me. You just have to stay strong and stick it out- find a friend to go to for comfort." She sighed, thinking of her family she left behind. "It stinks sometimes, though. I don't know if you have any siblings, but I left most of my littermates behind. Miss them a bunch... between you and me I still visit my sister Fria." She admitted.
