[ ooc: sorry for the delay! i'm trying to catch up and read all of the threads/posts from yesterday so please forgive me if i missed something ! if you pm/comment me, i'll edit it to make sense if it doesn't !! ]

Puddlemask spotted Voleskip as he approached. She straightened her shoulders, blue-violet eyes glimmering. "Hello," she responded in an even, friendly tone.

She gave a small sigh. It wasn't that the she-cat wanted ThunderClan to return the attack, but her whiskers still quivered with anticipation. If she caught even a trace of their scent, Puddlemask would rip them to shreds.

She blinked, trying to shake her racing thoughts away and focus on Voleskip, "How best do you think we can prepare?"

Blackkit padded up to the smaller kit and sigh, "Hey, are you ok?" he asked, he'd seen what had happened and felt generally cool about it, but that didn't necessarily apply to everyone.

Thornkit looked up shakily at the two kits next to him. They coughed for a moment. “I just...” He paused, swallowing. “I just can't believe Icestar would do that to Honeyleaf!” He blurted. “She only meant to make sure nobody got hurt....” He drifted off, coughing again. “Heh. You guys probably think I’m a flea-brain.” He sighed. “The worst part is, some cats seemed happy that she was killed.” He swallowed nervously. “I just...don't think that's right.”

Blackkit nodded to the other kit before turning his attention back to thornkit. "I know it seems harsh but Icestar saw the threat in what could have happened." he said calmly, "What if instead of brushing her off, Duskstar attacked our camp before we attacked them? Then even more of us would have died."

Beastspark's expression turns serious as Stormlily reports about coyotes. Even if it was old, just the thought of those mutts made him want to growl. He could still see those dogs as they tore through WindClan's cats, the thick scent of blood and the bodies. He fought the urge to shudder at the memory. The deputy shacks his head lightly while drawing his tongue over his chest fur. "I don't think we have anything to worry about from coyotes, if RiverClan truly did run them out then I would like to think that they're gone for good. However, if it makes you feel better I'll do a quick glance around the territory to see if there is any sign of them." It's been a while since he's bothered to leave camp and with Icestar healthy he wasn't needed in camp as much.

Thornkit glanced to the side. “That may be true..” They said. “But I’m just so confused! Why do the clans have to fight all the time anyway!?” Thornkit's head was spinning. They coughed again. “It's just...Why can't they be peaceful?”
