Sparrowpaw smirked. This was exhilirating.

Working her claws into the hard-packed soil beneath her, Sparrowpaw threw her head back in a spluttering series of laughter. This apprentice sure was amusing; especially if he truly did think he was tough.

"Make me take it back!" she guffawed, practically bubbling with inexorable laughter.

Honeypaw woke up in a haze of pain. Alarmed, he looked around the den. He was in the medicine cat den! What had happened? Did they win? He looked at his body, he smelled like herbs and blood. Cobwebs were strung across his side. Wow that was going to leave scars.

"Irirflame! What happened?"

Needlepaw pushed her way into the apprentice's den, her mind set on flopping down in her nest as soon as possible. She had just come back from dawn patrol and she was exhausted. The black tabby was almost to her nest in the middle of the den when she spotted a familiar dark pelt that blended almost perfectly with the shadows he was hiding in. The young apprentice bounced over, her exhaustion suddenly gone and replaced with excitement. "Hey, Blackpaw!" she chirped. "Guess what? Guess!" She stared at him intently as she waited for him to guess what she was going to tell him.

Redspot strode into the den with a piece of fresh kill, ready to give it to Irisflame. I wonder if she did eat already, he thought quickly before dropping the morsel at his paws to speak. "Irisflame?" He called, not trying to be too noisy. @Moon Lily

Jaggedclaw sat down near the warrior's den, watching these two kits squabble. Pathetic... The tom watched them closely, hoping none of them would notice him.

His claws unsheathed, but he stopped himself from using them. He would be the one to face the consequences if he did that!
