Family was separated after being attacked by dogs, defends and hunts for Zack (7 moons)

Abandoned kittypet kit that was left out because his twolegs were unable to care for him (4 moons)



Firefly ducked through the underbrush, his tail low and his mouth hanging open to catch any sort of prey scent. He could scent other cats, he always did when he hunted here. While he did want to avoid confrontation, the prey in this area was always so abundant and he needed to get back to Zack before the kit decided to wander away from the makeshift den again.

As moonpatch watched firey quietly she decided to follow him to learn more about him. But a mouse coughs her attention and she quickly dropped into a hunters crouch. Wiggling her hindquarters she kept and landed on the mouse giving it a quick bite to the back of the neck.

Firey froze, hearing a rustle from somewhere behind him as fresh cat scent wafting into his mouth. He forced his fur to lie flat and decided not to let whoever it was find out that he had detected them. Firey continued walking, this time winding through bushes and trees in a way that someone could only keep an eye on him if they were following closely. He kept his ears erect, scanning for any sound of footsteps.

Moonpatch gathered her courage and stepped out in front of firey. Realizing how short she is compared to him she slowly backed up. Defiance shining in her eyes. “ who are you and why are you here!”

Firey pinned his ears back, his fur standing up and his tail raising. He may not have been very much older than a kit, but being part Maine Coon and having his fathers gene for long legs and big paws made him appear to be the age of an older apprentice or a young warrior. His claws flashed against the leaf-covered ground and he gave her the most menacing glare he could muster. "Firefly. Now beat it," he said, trying to sound powerful, but his small voice somewhat gave away his age.

Isn’t much younger that firey ( 6 1/2 moons old) but is strong willed moon puffed up her white pelt causing her to look like a fluffy white and black ball. I’m Moon and...moon suddenly sneezed. Out of nowhere her legs gave in be neath her ad she collapsed. Breathing heavily her vision became blurry and she passed out of exhaustion.

Firey blinked, not quite sure how to respond. He told her to beat it, not lay down and take a nap! Hesitantly, he took careful steps towards her crumpled form and poked her with his paw, his claws barely out so as not to draw any blood but still give a sharp sensation.
