Pheasantflight ran along with Cinderdust and Midnightstripe. "I'll tell you when we get to the river." She stopped and let herself stagger backwards towards Dapplelight.

The warrior couldn't see anyone in the camp.. but the Fire and Smoke could be seen, getting much, much nearer by the second. She quickly ran off, heading to the river. Soon she heard the sound of the rapids, and halted in front of the river.
I'm safe. But others might not be, she thought.

~Rainstar and Whisperwing~
~On the run~

As the entire clan came to the small river, Whisperwing could hear the fire ablaze behind them. Without any plan, he leapt into the freezing water, before yowling as he was swept away downstream.

Rainstar yelled, “Whisperwing!” But no one could of heard her, for the rapids and Fire were nearly deafening everyone. She jumped in after him, wincing as the cold droplets splashed on her pelt. But she too, was swept away.
Yowling, she desperately tried to keep to the surface, until she noticed a floating bunch of reeds and wood. It was rather large, and could hold the clan. She clambered aboard, dragging Whisperwing by the scruff up on too. Then she yelled, so everyone else could hear, “Warriors! Carry the kits aboard! It’s safe! Everyone else, just get up here alive!”
The floating plants were strong, and wasn’t far from the sandy shore. But what worried the leader, was that the river could carry anyone away.

As quickly as possible, the she-cat ran by the riverside. When at last she came to the area where the 'raft' was. Preparing her hind legs, she leaped onto the raft, unbalancing it slightly, though it quickly got back into position. She turned to the other cats.
"Pass the kits to me!" she yowled.

Pheasantflight jumped on next to Fennelspring and kept her paws on the bank, pushing the 'raft' to the bank. "Hurry!"

The queen panted furiously. She was so worried for her unborn kits.

She looked around and saw Cinderdust. She had the herbs. Good. She ran over to run beside her apprentice.
