Shadow woke up and walked out of her den. She was still tired for some reason. She yawned and walked over to Surge and Cage. "Hey Cage. Hey Surge" she said.

Surge's ears twitched. "I think it would be best to leave at sunhigh." He meowed., stating his opinion. He tilted his head slightly, his tail flicking. "It is a beautiful place. But I understand, dogs are too dangerous and so are foxes." The dark tom nodded.

Cage stood up to face Shadow.
``Goodmorning, Shadow. We're leaving at sun high, I've decided we can't stay here.`` He meowed.
He flicked his tail at the crumbling twoleg den as if saying "exhibit A".

Surge smiled at Shadow. "Hello Shadow." He dipped his head in greeting. Looking over to the twoleg den, his ears folded back at how bad it was.

Surge followed after, looking back at the crumbling den. Had they been there for that long? Had the weather been so bad it had made the den crumble away like dust?
His blue eyes had a tinge of sadness in them as they walked away. He sighed, knowing this place was dangerous and they had to move, but it was just too beautiful . Surge held his head high, putting on a happy face.
Maybe this would be fun, and they would find an even better place, with less foxes and hopefully no dogs.

Cage led down the hills. He headed towards a clump of trees, the ferns were large and bushy. The trees only lasted a few fox-lengths, but they were large and beautiful. Eventually, they passed the trees and the clearing and neared a large twoleg-place. Seemingly hundreds of twoleg dens were scattered in front of the 3 cats.
