Maple sighed, turning to leave. "If I may, I have to go now. Nice meeting you, violent-cat." She swished her tail, perking her ears and trying to look strong. This cat... worries me. It's strange, the way he's looking at me.

Maple winced as his paw flashed across her eye. She let out a cry of pain, her vision fading. Blood splashed across the forest floor, and her body thumped onto the ground, all conciousness gone.

Spider would have felt bad, if he could have really felt anything, this was e way it's been since his mother rejected him. He licked the blood of his paws, and grabbed Maple by the scruff and easily dragged her underneath the shelter of a wallowing willow and put her on a bed of moss

Maple woke , her head and eye throbbing. "W-what..?" She looked around the small clearing she was in. Willow trees leaned in towards her, and shadows crept along the edges of the clearing. Memories of the night before flooded into Maples head, and she looked furiously around the clearing for the tom who had dealt the damage to her head and eye.
