It was quite a strange answer, and quite a strange question. Maybe Johanna had hit her head or had short-term memory loss or something along those lines. "We're in Cannington, of course. Why? The sentence puzzled her. Did Johanna not want to come to Cannington? Her eyebrows pressed together and she was beginning to believe the runaway theory more and more. "Do you not want to be in Cannington?" Huxley tried to make it sound like she wasn't offended, yet it was evident she was. This small town was all she had known and a complete stranger seemed astonished and disappointed that they had ended up here. Of course she would be offended.

I shook my head quickly. "I just thought I I something!" I said quickly grabbing the floating peice of dust and tucking it carefully in my hand. Oh PLEASE tell me she doesn't think that I'm rather strange... I gave a sigh, losing my smile for a moment thinking of home. It might have been painful, but there, there, she didn't have to hide anything. She could speak however she wanted, usually unless it offended someone of course.

Huxley just shrugged her shoulders, seemingly brushing it off. The thought remained in the back of her head, but she mostly ignored it. "It's fine. You don't owe me an explanation." Her arm hung by her side, tapping against her jeans. "So, what brings you to town?" Huxley said. Usually, it was something she said just to be polite, but on this occasion, she genuinely wanted to know. A strange girl wearing strange clothes with a strange look who doesn't know what town their in. This had to be good.

I have to say, Huxley's full of questions... were all humans like this? "I was just traveling with no direction!" I said. Hold on.
. What kind of traveler travels with no direction? I sighed. I was probably very strange. Well might as well! "If I tell you something do you PROMISE that you will not tell ANYBODY?" I said rather seriously.

Huxley was a bit perplexed by the response, but some people would rather just go off and do their own thing, so it wasn't too out of the ordinary. Then she was hit with the "don't tell anyone" phrase. Something she had heard a million times before from friends, aquaintances, and now, random people on the street. "Sure. As long as you're not a murderer or something like that your secret will die with me." Huxley was a self-proclaimed "secret keeper of the year". It was easy for Huxley to keep her mouth shut about things she knew she couldn't tell anybody.

I sighed, taking a large breath. "D-Do you what a Who is?" I asked. Why... Why couldn't I just been able to stay in Whovillw?! My parents were probably very worried about me... They were probably wondering where I was at this moment...

"They're real? Like the ones from the movies?" Huxley was beginning to think this girl was crazy, but it all kind of made sense. Maybe Huxley was going crazy too. Maybe she was just imagining it. "How did you get here then?" Huxley asked slowly. She was not very confident that this girl was telling the truth, but she would listen anyway.
