Destiny kept her heavy cloak pulled over her shoulders, not because of the weather (it was always hot and dry in the City of the Sun), but because she didn't want to attract attention. She was on a mission.

As the priestess, her duty was to tend to the poor of the city. Though it was a great city, it still had its lowlifes- and the best place to find beggars was in the market.

Padleon sat under the shade of one of the large striped awnings of the marketplace with a loaf of bread in his paw, it was only a half, that was all he could afford after toiling in the sun doing air tricks and stunts.
Then Padleon saw her, she was in a cloak, that was the first thing off about her, then there was the fact that she seemed to be avoiding the salespersons, quickly Padleon hid behind the cart, his eyes wide, even though he had done nothing wrong, he knew from experience that many felt that any homeless scamp like him was a thief or a scammer.

Her black tufted ears perked up at the sound of movement, barely a rustle above the sound of chattering.

"Hello?" she offered in her low, yet feminine voice, spotting a figure hiding behind a small cart. "Is someone there?
