Teddie felt her spirits drop like a stone in water. "Um... I guess not. And, if my housefolk decide to get another cat, I guess I'll live alone with them. And I've always wanted adventure! I'm never allowed normally to leave my garden, I'm already going to be in a lot of trouble because of what I did! What do you mean, hunting? What's that?" The black kit had tears in her eyes, getting scared.

"Oh hun! I didn't mean anything by it! I guess I just live differently than you do! Hunting is when you get your own food, it's super fun!" Streamtaill tries to reassure the kit, to her that's all she is, a kit that doesn't have a family.

"Would you like me to teach you?" Streamtail goes back to a cheerful voice, not wanting to scare teddie, "In fact, do you want to maybe come with me back home? You would have lots of adventure there! You could make lots of new friends too! You would have a big family too!"

Teddie's blue eyes brightened with joy at the mention of going with Streamtail. "Really!? How big of a family? Will I have friends to play with? Wait, won't your 'family' be mad at you for wandering off when you're expecting?" She asked.

"No, I'm an adult and I'm just taking a walk. And yes you will have lots of friends and a super big family, I could adopt you! You'll have siblings, an aunt, an uncle, a mom, and a dad! You would be a big part of the clan!" Streamtail smiles at the kit, "And you can't expect me not do go on my daily walk!"
